Private balconies for lazy ship-gazing in Cozumel
All of the 348 rooms at the Park Royal Cozumel, a landmark waterfront resort, have their own private balcony, many with excellent views of the clear Caribbean hosting incoming and outgoing cruise ships. The all-inclusive package gives guests all meals, including a la carte dinner and snacks and has no limit on beverages – guests choose from three restaurants and five bars. The Kid’s Club provides fun activities for little ones, and up to two kids may stay with their parents for free; ages seven to 12 pay an additional fee.

Excellent view of cruise ships
Three restaurants and five bars on site
Three swimming pools and open-air theater

Glossy marble floors, pale blonde wood furniture and a cloud-colored bed echo the tone set by the white sandy beach outside. All of the 348 rooms at the Park Royal Cozumel hotel have their own private balcony; an ocean view adds an aqua focal point to the room’s already beach-y interior. All rooms have a full bathroom with hair dryer and vanity mirror, a 27-inch flat-screen TV with cable, individual climate control and a telephone.
Meals are served a la carte in two restaurants, which serve Mexican or Italian food in their respective elegant settings (a dress code applies). More casual, buffet-style dining takes place on the veranda near the pool. Five bars are peppered around the Park Royal Cozumel hotel, providing poolside snacks and refreshments.
Snorkeling and diving expeditions allows gorgeous exploration of the second-largest coral reef in the world. An underground walkway takes guests of the Park Royal Cozumel hotel safely across the street to the beachfront area. An open-air theater has nightly shows. Three swimming pools may be used for languid laps -- but one is designated for kids.

The Park Royal Cozumel was the most wonderful resort I have ever stayed at. Beautiful setting a short distance from downtown near a cruise ship dock. The Staff was so helpful and friendly. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Each room
has a balcony with views of the resort and ocean. The food and drinks were fantastic. several restaurants and bars with great food choices. New items on the menu every day. It was both adult and family oriented. The facilities were in excellent condition and very well manicured. I will recommend this resort to all my family and friends and anyone wanting a wonderful getaway. Snorkeling and SCUBA diving are on site with coral reef a few feet from the deck. Several pools and a white sand beach made this an all around excellent experience. The island was very safe we walked down town several times. All the residents of the island are grateful of tourists. We rented a Jeep one day and drove aorund the island also. A HUGE thank you to Park Royal Resort for making our trip to Cozumel a memorable one!

Pretty Place, but Quiet
I stayed at Park Royal Cozumel from August 20-28th (2011) and found the resort to be beautiful. The morning buffet was great and the food overall was very very good- they had a big variety- much bigger then other resorts that I have visited. The
staff was friendly- especially by the pool near the Merlin swim up bar! They lacked extraordinary night time entertainment- they had live shows, but they were very repetitive. A good amount of the tours were not in Cozumel- but a ferry ride away ($26 round trip person). The resort and neighborhood was very safe- my friend and I (both smaller girls) walked to the "city" part from the hotel completely fearless. If I was visiting Cozumel again- I would stay in this hotel. Compared to the other ones that I saw in Cozumel- there honestly was no comparison- Park Royal was the best in the area!
