All of the 348 rooms at the Park Royal Cozumel, a landmark waterfront resort, have their own private balcony, many with excellent views of the clear Caribbean hosting incoming and outgoing cruise ships. The all-inclusive package gives guests all meals, including a la carte dinner and snacks and has no limit on beverages – guests choose from three restaurants and five bars. The Kid’s Club provides fun activities for little ones, and up to two kids may stay with their parents for free; ages seven to 12 pay an additional fee.
Dining
Meals are served a la carte in two restaurants, which serve Mexican or Italian food in their respective elegant settings (a dress code applies). More casual, buffet-style dining takes place on the veranda near the pool. Five bars are peppered around the Park Royal Cozumel hotel, providing poolside snacks and refreshments.
Rooms
Glossy marble floors, pale blonde wood furniture and a cloud-colored bed echo the tone set by the white sandy beach outside. All of the 348 rooms at the Park Royal Cozumel hotel have their own private balcony; an ocean view adds an aqua focal point to the room’s already beach-y interior. All rooms have a full bathroom with hair dryer and vanity mirror, a 27-inch flat-screen TV with cable, individual climate control and a telephone.

  • Close to the world’s second-largest coral reef; dive shop in-house
  • Excellent view of cruise ships

Great Hotel for vacation

The location is great. Close to airport, downtown and the pier. Room is spacious and clean, the bed is a bit soft for me though (I like rock hard mattress). Watch out for the big ants outside on the balcony if you have little children. The small private beach is good for kids playing sands and snorkeling. The two beach-side pools are my favorite! The views are awesome! Bartenders are nice and friendly and I like the drinks very much! Make sure to use the safe inside the room if you carry lots of cash or valuable stuff. My friend was stolen $1500 cash in the room!!!

Great Trip

We had an excellent trip and will return! Resort always kept clean and staff looked after all your needs. Especially pleased with Eduardo and the restaurant staff, Excelllent. My complaints are rather small but need to be mentioned. No free wireless anywhere. Ice cold pools and "hot" tubs. Poor evening shows. Besides these minor things excellent stay! While there go on the Jeep Tour of the island with snorkeling and Taquila factory tour!

Great location. Wonderful friendly staff

We loved our stay at Park Royal Cozumel. My husband has limited mobility and the size of the resort was perfect! Close to the small convenient Cozumel airport and downtown. Wonderful, friendly staff, most of whom spoke English. Lovely pools and swim up bars. Food was delicious. I have stayed at several all inclusives and the value of this resort was better than most. Would stay again.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

We took an excursion to Dolphinaris which we booked through the Park Royal resort. We were able to swim with the dolphins, which was a fantastic experience. Highly recommended. Did not realize the price included all inclusive drinks and food, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking too!

First vacation to Cozumel

This trip was great- the food options were just enough. The only downside was having to get up early to get a spot even though guests weren't supposed to save seating and it was first come first serve. And the line for the reservations for the two restaurants was a little long and silly. Otherwise all staff was super nice and rooms were super clean, beds were slightly stiff but I like it that way. We are already planning for another trip there again!

Best Resort Ever!

The Park Royal Cozumel was the most wonderful resort I have ever stayed at. Beautiful setting a short distance from downtown near a cruise ship dock. The Staff was so helpful and friendly. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Each room has a balcony with views of the resort and ocean. The food and drinks were fantastic. several restaurants and bars with great food choices. New items on the menu every day. It was both adult and family oriented. The facilities were in excellent condition and very well manicured. I will recommend this resort to all my family and friends and anyone wanting a wonderful getaway. Snorkeling and SCUBA diving are on site with coral reef a few feet from the deck. Several pools and a white sand beach made this an all around excellent experience. The island was very safe we walked down town several times. All the residents of the island are grateful of tourists. We rented a Jeep one day and drove aorund the island also. A HUGE thank you to Park Royal Resort for making our trip to Cozumel a memorable one!

Fantastic Trip!

The hotel has excellent amenities and the staff are most wonderful! They're all very friendly and this creates a very nice atmosphere for visitors. The hotel also has a nice layout with a private beach and two infinity pools over looking the crisp blue water!

20 Yr Anniversary (HoneyMoon)

This was the 4th time we have stayed at Park Royal...the staff are always working hard to make your stay the best ever. They are always cleaning and you dont see any trash...This is a 1st class resort. The food was excellent. It was great to try different foods...etc. If you are wanting to take a mid day nap you might want to get a room that does not face the pool...the laughter and cheers of the other guests can be heard even on the 8th floor. If you wish to use the Wi Fi wireless it will cost you $15/ day...But since you are on vacation...Who needs it anyway. The island is VERY SAFE dispite what rumors you may hear ...as for the mainland...thats another story. On the island...they have their own military base along with several police officers present throughout the streets..I seen children playing in the center area of town square at 10pm. Dont make the mistake that MOST tourists make...Go visit the streets off of the main street...Here you will meet some great people and save lots of money on food and merchandise..If you visit during the last weekend of April and the first week of May..This is the time of the Festival of El Cedral.....It is a family event with lots of food..crafts..cultural dancing and bull fighting/horse racing etc...This is another place not visited by many tourists...and they are missing out on seeing the culture and closeness of the families of Cozumel..They welcome you with open arms...I could go on and on about how great our trip was...but you can only experience it by doing it...One other note...you have to go see the Christ statue in the Chakannab Marine Park...its an underwater statue that will bring you to tears and touch your heart..We met some great local people and made some lifelong friends....See you next year at El Cedral..

The Sunset Pirate Dinner Cruise....This is a must do when visiting Cozumel...The lobster and steak dinner were first class along with the entertainment. I would also recomment visiting Los Sera's...this is a local hang out for great tacos and pizza...13 pesos for tacos and 100 pesos for a hugh stacked pizza. The owners/operatos speak little english but they work with you and enjoy seeing tourist....Also visit Playa Bonita which is on the eastern side of the island...excellent food////view///etc Go see ROSY PECH at BlissdaySPA Incredible 4 hand Bliss Massage
