Beachfront elegance, close to downtown San Miguel
The all-inclusive El Cozumeleno Beach Front Resort offers excellent snorkeling, fine dining and an elegant location: across the street from Cozumel Country Club and its award-winning PGA-approved golf course. Families play together on the mini-golf course or in the kid’s activity center and separate pool. Cozumel
The snorkeling was great, beach is rocky unless you go past the pier/dock, food was good, drinks are better if you tip, we had a room in the old section and it was very large, there are only 10 cabana umbrellas to lounge under which makes them in high demand and VERY difficult to get but if you like being in the sun all day it's not a problem, our biggest turn off was that there was no security bar on the door and on our last evening we were woken up by a maid coming in to our room to give extra towels, she didn't knock and went right past the bathroom (supposedly she went to wrong room) kinda fishy

THIS WAS OUR FIRST TIME TO MEXICO AND WE PICKED THE PREFECT PLACE TO GO VISIT. OUR PLACE WAS BEAUTIFUL. THE VIEW FROM OUR ROOM WAS AMAZING. THE STAFF WAS SO NICE AND AWSOME. THE NICEST PEOPLE I EVER MET. WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALMA, LUIS, ALDO, NAOMI AND SYLVIA. THEY WENT THAT EXTRA MILE FOR NOT ONLY FOR MY HUSBAND AND I BUT FOR ALL OUR FRIENDS THAT CAME ALONE FOR OUR CELEBRATION. WISH I COULD REMEMBER OUR HOUSEKEEPERS NAME WE WERE IN ROOM 1818 SHE WAS ALSO VERY NICE. FRONT DECK STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL CHANGING OUR ROOM TO A OCEAN FRONT VIEW. OUR STAY WAS PREFECT. JUST LIKE OUR WEDDING. FOOD WAS GREAT. WILL COME BACK. I COULD GO ON AND ON BUT NOT ENOUGH SPACE. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR OUR MEMORIES!

Relaxing atmosphere
Very attentive staff. Beautiful view, many pools, fabulous snorkeling, great drinks of allllllllll kinds, great walks down the beach and the clear, blue waters were fabulous to play in or just look at. Our room was very large- bed a little firm and the colors could be updated BUT it was clean and that is what counts. I would go back there in a minute.......

Ask the other guests what they have done for fun. They know who to ask or where to go and what not to do, etc. Many were very helpful and give you names and #s of the best rates, etc. as going thru the hotel people is not always the cheapest route.

Great Resort for the Value,
I have stayed at this resort four times and I believe it is a great bargain for the price. The food is about what I have experienced at other all inclusive s on Cozumel.The rooms are always clean and the staff does a great job,always friendly and helpful.The location is close enough to town for a short cab ride if you want to go out.The three star rating is right on,if you are expecting a super club resort this is not it,but it is a very popular place for return guest so it has to be doing something right.

BEST EVER
This was our 15th vacation to Mexico and was by far the best we have ever had. Everything about the complete trip was just fantastic. Only a better bed would have made it perfect. Never had to wait or want for a single thing. I will go back their again and will bring more friends next time. I can't believe the Hotel wasn't rated a five star operation.

Hotel Info.
I was really happy with the motel except for the air conditioner water dripping on the floor right by the bathroom door. But put a towel down and you will not slip. Otherwise it was spacious and comfortable.

Only about 5 minutes from downtown, great location. You can walk but it was awfully hot and humid, the taxi was $8 for the 3 of us. Cheap so why walk.

2012 Girls Vacation
2 girls and I visited Cozumel and stayed at the El Cozumeleno. We had a wonderful time. The staff and all surroundings were woderful and gorgeous!
