A diver’s resort, with a fully staffed and equipped on-site diving facility
The Casa Del Mar Cozumel hotel is tailor-made for divers, and has the Del Mar Aquatics dive shop on-site. A fleet of boats takes divers out to their reef of choice -- 17 in all. The hotel has partnered with Nachi Cocom, a beach club that offers outdoor activities including diving, snorkeling, massage and sports. The Coral Reef restaurant offers traditional dishes and a poolside bar serves cocktails. Meal plans are available on a daily basis. Stress Reliever
Coming back ot Casa del Mar is like coming home. All the familiar faces and surroundings. I'm a diver and i wish they were closer to the dive sites, my wife is not and wishes they were closer to town. We stayed in a cabana, and while they have a stove, microwave, fridge and coffee pot, what they don't have is pots, pans, plates, cups saucers...... the rooms are clean, grounds emaculate, and the staff very friendly.

fantastic 10 day dive trip
everything was great, staff is very friendly and attentive. Room was very clean and comfortable. food and service was excellent and the dive shop is tops. beautiful place, pool, hot tub and grounds are beautifully maintained.

Basic hotel but probably super for divers.
This hotel is 90% used by divers, which means that there are plenty of free sunbeds for the non divers. Garden and pool area was well kept but it would have been nice with some parasols for shade by the sun beds. Reasonable prices in the restaurant but limited menu. Breakfast is rather bland. Shower was not hot. On our arrival we were greeted by a moldy smell in the lobby.

Dive with Roberta's Eco-Dive just across the road to the left of Atlantis. They were a lot more friendly than the dive shop of the hotel.

Great dive hotel
Hotel was a good value and served its purpose. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dive shops across the street. Enjoyed the ocean view from the room too. The bar and restaurant were reasonably priced and regularly busy. A long walk or short cab ride to the downtown area.

best dive hotel on cozumel island.
Have stayed at Casa del Mar every year since 05. Everything about this hotel is right on the mark if you're about diving. The entire staff will make your stay great. Just got back , will have to wait till next March.

Great relaxing holiday!
This is the place you want to stay if you'd like to be a little off the beaten path, away from the hordes of cruise ship visitors in town who expect only English to be spoken and to pay US dollars for their margaritas. It is still close enough to be a cheap cab ride or nice walk to other restaurants/shopping. All the staff at Casa del Mar (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, diving) are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok, a bit dated, but AC was cold and you're not spending too much time inside anyway. The pool area is nice, great for sunbathing, and has a fun swim up bar. Most of the other guests I met had been coming to Casa del Mar for sun and diving for years. Didn't take the all-inclusive dining option as it was nice to eat elsewhere for some meals.

Stock up on beer/liquor at the OXXO just north of Casa del Mar. Much cheaper prices than at the restaurant (about 1/3). You can get ice for free at the bar to chill your drinks.

Kinda sad hotel, great diving
The hotel needs renovation and appears old, smelly, and dirty. The bed and towels were clean, but old. It was noisy, but convenient for our needs. The dive shop was great, but needs lockers, and an easier way to get to it besides lots of stairs, or crossing a busy street.

Head for the Money Bar for great food, drinks, and nice view of the sunset. Food is great, and reasonably priced. Just a short drive to the South.
