Dining

AURA GRILL
Along with a spectacular sunset the Aura Grill serves up delicious fare. This is your choice for dinner entres such as succulent Prime Rib, a T Bone, or salmon steak in lemon butter sauce. And it just wouldn't be Mexico without the option to build your own tacos, so we have those too.
HAVA BAR
This one is right on the beach. And when we're not serving lunch or dinner here, it's a great choice for a cocktail in our most casual setting. It's also the bar that has wait staff who can bring you a margarita poolside or even on our secluded beach.
LUNA LOUNGE
This is our most elegant choice for a nightcap. It offers great views of the Caribbean and boasts intimate seating, friendly staff, and a full bar with signature cocktails such as a Don Julio Martini or a Island Mojito.
TRADERS LAGOON
This is your choice for dinner with a more international flair, but every entre comes with a spectacular view as a side dish. Here is where you'll enjoy chicken au mango, beef tenderloin with Polynesian spices.
BRISAS BAR
Brisas translates to breezes, and that's just what you'll feel relaxing at the bar. It's high atop a buildings and boasting 2 jacuzzis for both soaking and sipping. Cold beer, signature cocktails such as Martini Melon or Martini Tangerine are yours to enjoy. We think it might be the ideal spot to watch the sun set.
MOSAIQUE
As an added bonus, you may also dine at our sister Sabor resort next door in their lovely Mosaique restaurant. So easy, it's just a 5-minute stroll away. Start your meal with spring rolls stuffed with shrimp or beef sate, then chose an entre such as a grouper fillet or honey crusted chicken. Be sure to save room for their signature tempura cheese cake, it's not to be missed. . Island casual attire - please, no beach attire. A reservation is required here.
ISOLA
This sleek modern restaurant is your location for a delicious ala carte breakfast with made-to-order omelets, exotic fresh fruit or even eggs Benedict. For lunch choose chose from delicious, light Caribbean and Mexican inspired dishes such as roasted chicken or grilled fish. Island casual attire -no sandals, no shorts are permited. To offer greater variety, at night our lovely Isola restaurant is transformed into two options: Aura Gill and Trader's Lagoon each featuring very different menus. You may also pick from three bars on the property or have a drink brought to you on the beach. Of course, room service is a daily option.

Awesome Resort!

This was my husband and I first trip to Mexico, but it surely won't be the last. We went to celebrate our 6th anniversary. This place exceeded what we expected. The Aura Resort is spectacular! The food was good with a decent variety of choices especially for an all-inclusive resort. The service was great, the staff was so polite and helpful. We had a very peaceful, relaxing vacation thanks to Aura Adult Resort. I highly recommend this resort, you won't regret it. We're making plans to return for Christmas possibly.

Coming Home to Aura

The warm welcome we received from all the employees truly made our third trip to Aura in April like coming home. Our large beautiful room was on the 3rd floor with stairs leading up to a private pool, lounging, and a second bathroom. All 89 rooms are ocean view and close to the beach set in a semicircle around the lazy river pool. We love the no reservation a la carte restaurants. The steaks, shrimp and fajitas are favorites. But even more important is the outstanding and personal service in the restaurants provided by the exceptional employees. We enjoyed evenings at Las Brisas rooftop bar. A wonderful place to watch the sunset. Even though the bar and restaurant are only steps away, the pool/beach drink and food service are a real treat. Besides a couple of scuba dives, we relaxed and enjoyed the wonderfully quiet romantic atmosphere Aura provides. The small perfectly designed resort with such personalized, caring service makes Aura unlike any other resort we have stayed at and that is why we keep coming back. We can’t wait to return “home” to Aura next April.

Well worth it

We got much more than we bargained for at the Aura. We stayed the week of 4/23/12. This was our 20th anniv. and it was our 1st trip to Cozumel but likely NOT the last. The reason is largely due to the resort and the staff. EVERYONE was very friendly and helpful. Resort was in a great location, clean and well organized. Food was ample and delicious. Difficult to understand why any other review would be negative.

Be sure to check out Alberto's Beach Bar while in Cozumel. The food is great, they have a live band on the beach, and Chala is the best snorkel guide around.

Great Week In Cozumel

The Food was great, The Staff was extremely helpful, The Bar was well stocked with Top Shelf beverages. I would definitely recommend a room on the Bottom floor, so you can walk out to the Lazy River, and leave your belonging's on your balcony. As with any resort sometimes there is a shortage of chairs by the Pool, by having a room on the pool you never worry about it. The Food is Amazing, the only down side is the Menu never changes, so use the restaurants at the sister resort to never get "Tired of Eating the Same Thing". Late night this resort gets very quiet, but if you like to party late, next door there is always a party Free of Charge. I've stayed on the Island 8 times and I will Definitely stay at Aura Cozumel Again!!!!!!

Great Vacation

This was a great place to relax for a few days. We were most impressed with the kindness of the staff, you were all great! The facilities and food were also great. The weekend nights were a bit rowdy but nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't fix. It is very hard to receive a five star raking from me, as it represents perfect. Aura was very close but not quite there. Hopefully they listen to the very minor criticisms I left with them which I won't list here. Overall I'd definitely recommend this resort. I hope to be back someday and to leave the five star ranking next time.

Awesome Aura

Wow! The Aura is a quiet, tranquil place. The music is soft as it plays in the Hava Grill and lobby outside. The room overlooks the pools and ocean. The staff is also calm and peaceful, as well as polite and very focused on your experience being a positive one. No kids or party animals. But if you want to party hardy, go to the Sabor. The Aura is all about relaxation and romance. Don't get me wrong, you can drink all you want, but why be totaled for dinner and miss the exquisite cuisine. And that goes for breakfast and lunch, too. 5-star food, really. 5-star all-around. Also, we loved our private lap pool on our very own second story balcony.
