THE DOOR SIGN GAVE TWO OPTIONS 1. NOT TO BE DISTURB 2.PLEASE CLEAN MY ROOM. THE WORDING WAS IN SPANISH. SINCE I KNOW HOW TO READ IN SPANISH, I PLACE THE DOOR SIGN ON OPTION 2.PLEASE CLEAN MY ROOM. To my surprise after I came back and the room was NOT clean. Awww I was sad, and disappointed. I wanted to show off to my mother-in-law how clean the room was, but was the one with the surprise. :( Though I did like the privacy the pool has. The cleanliness the lobby had , the restaurant, and the bar. It look presentable. Relaxing. I love it. I think I will return next. I just hope the room gets clean when I ask. :)

We went to Dine to Las Parrillas de Sonora, WE did not get complementary drink from The hotel as for other restaurants, but we went there. It was family oriented and friendly. NICE, VERY NICE!

very weak at best
staff was unable to accommodate basic requests, very small rooms, and ridiculously high priced. Room, 100 us dollars? Glass of milk for coffee 29 pesos, in Mexico, please.

Five Palms restaurant complex adjacent to hotel is great and open late.

Cd. Obregon Central-Recommended
This Holiday Inn is very convenient, just follow the highway in from the north, holding to "Centro," and it is on your left. Great beds, super clean, and affordable. The "5 Palms" resturant right next door is, alone, worth staying at the Holiday Inn, Cuidad Obregon (try the shrimp tacos, "muy rico!")

No surprises?
The room was very dark, even with the light on. It was advertised as having free internet access in the room, but as they later told me, my room didn't get reception (this when I tried to connect without luck) They did have a computer room, which I got dressed and used, as I had promised my husband I would. The dining room was charming. The food stinks. My friend and I have long rides each day so didn't want to go out. Neither of us liked the food. The location is great. Right on the HWY north/south.
