Quiet Cancun beach getaway in the hotel zone between lagoon and sea
The Westin Resort & Spa Cancun is perched between Nichupte lagoon and the Caribbean waters on a white-sand beach. The hotel has four shimmering outdoor pools, a fitness center and signature spa, as well as lit outdoor tennis courts, water sports and a club for kids. Elegant, contemporary guest rooms swathed in crisp linens overlook the lagoon or turquoise sea. Breeze-swept outdoor bars and restaurants and an array of indoor dining venues cater to diverse tastes. An all-inclusive plan is an option.

Cancun vacation
Overall it is a good hotel, but less quality than other Westin hotels we have stayed before. The bed is not comfortable, usually a strong point for the Westins. But the waether and beach in Cancun is so nice ytou are not diaappointed with Westin even it is not perfect.

Great value, loved the ocean view
free breakfast and free happy hour 5-8pm included drinks and appetizers, so this trip was a steal decent snorkeling, good service (only minor issues like odd room service times a couple days) overall an excellent time

Westin Cancun Resort and Spa
Very close to airport at beginning of hotel zone Bus to Cancun shopping stops in front of hotel. Staff was great. Rooms spacious and views of either lagoon or the sea are wonderful. Multiple pools. The surf in front of hotel is a little rough, so walk down a little to the beach in front of Club Med and the area is protected with some good snorkeling also. Decent restaurants on premises, and multiple bars. Bar and food service on the beach. This is a quiet place and my wife and I had a great time. Would definitely go back. Great wait staff at restaurant .

Great Hotel
My wife and I stayed there for an entire week. Everyone in the hotel was very nice. The pools were always clean. The couple of time we ate at the restaurant, the food was excellent. It's a few bucks more then if you were to eat out in the states, but overall it was good food. The beach was calm, cool temp. and clear. The hotel was quite, everyone we encountered seemed to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Clean sheets and bathroom.

Short drive from hotel
Bus rides are only 8.50 pesos. Taxis go as low as 25 pesos. If your not getting these prices, ask who can and most are nice enough to tell you who charges these rates.

perfect location for the traveler
We had spend with my wife just one night before the early flight from Yucatan. Hotel was in best location close to the airport of Cancun. We could have a very good rest before the long trip home.

Dirty Hotel
This hotel should not carry the Westin name. The cleanliness of the hotel was sub par. The carpets throughout the hallways were stained and never appeared to be vacuumed. Trash was left in window sills and on the floor for hours even after the cleaning staff had cleaned the rooms. We were moved 5 times until we found a suitable room. The first room wasn't cleaned when we arrived. The second smell and the third and fourth were dirty as well. It was ridiculous.

Cali valley guy
Great for a weekend getaway
Hotel location is pretty distant from all the other resorts. Perfect for someone whos looking for quite time and away from all the action. Although i say the hotel is starting to show its age and the feel of the hotel isn't as warm as it used to be. The Royal Beach Club area is better but its not as good of a deal as it once used to be. Beach area is a plus!

Take the buses into town only 8.50 pesos fast, cheap and safe.. Also stay in the Royal Beach Club area included BASIC breakfast and happy hour drinks in the evenings.
