The Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort is a modern, chic getaway situated in an ideal location for easy access to many of Cancun's treasures. fantastic family getaway
my entire family enjoyed this experience!! the room was spacious!! really appreciated the amenities especially the washer/dryer!!! the pool was divine!! especially in the evening!! very clean. had a massage at the ocean side and totally enjoyed the serenity and the sound of the ocean!!! locations is ideal. mall across the street. bus stop across street so very convenient to get around!!!

Xplor theme park, Jungle tour in Sea- Doo 30 hp outboard boat. Many excellent restraunts, La habena cholia, Thai, Distillery, Fish Fratanga

Girls Spring Breaker
1st trip to Cancun!
This hotel was jaw dropping from the drive way all the way to the view from our room! The strip was just a fun bus ride away & there was an amazing mall right across from us. The only thing I didn't like was how heavy the doors are, 1 windy night my hand was slammed by the door & the hotel barely budged when I showed them my almost broken hand!

Walmart is only a 15 minute bus ride away & if your room has a full kitchen you should definitely buy groceries especially since there is only 2 good restaurants in the hotel.

Great trip away from the cold!
We are from ND/MN and needed this trip away from the cold. Weather was perfect the whole time. Location is perfect, right by the bus stop and across from malls and restaurants. The beach is amazing. Soft sand and clean! The hotel overall was very clean. The floors in our room (tile) were grimy from the condensation. Poor ventilation in the bathroom and no fan. Little things. The hotel is huge and confusing at first. Our room was nowhere near the infinity pool. It was right by a smaller pool, but still a gorgeous view. The WiFi in the room was not good at all, for a decent connection we had to go to the Business Center. Had 1 bed and sofa-sleeper. Room was not set up to have the sofa-sleeper out. Table in the way and nowhere to put it. Staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. English was good. Great value for the overall experience. Will return!

Nice place for family vacation
We stayed there in the studio for a week. The location is great, right across the shopping center. There is also quite a few restaurants nearby. Each room has a ocean view. The drinks are expensive comparing to the quality, I won't recommend it. Staffs are friendly. The main complain is the wifi signal is very weak and internet constantly break in the middle.

Baby Lobster-located in the La Isla Mall. You wouldn't go there unless someone told you. 660 pesos for surf and surf for two and you will lunch for the next day. Two small lobster tails, three screw ears of fish, two pieces of fish, shrimp and three side dishes!

best location in cancun!
Located across the street from shopping mall fine dining,and a short walk from many other of cancuns attractions. Always great weather. Cancunis a perfect getaway destination.

Westin Lagunamar - AWESOME!!!
Our first time in Cancun, and the Westin was fantastic. Location is great (across street from La Isla outdoor shopping mall). You can get the local bus right outside the hotel. Grounds are beautiful, rooms are clean, staff is beyond helpful and excellent. We did a tour (booked on our own) and the tour company didn't show up, the Concierge kept checking on us and calling the company for us. They are just super-fantastic!!! Can't wait to go back.

Take bus to downtown area for some dinners from local places. This way you're putting money in their pockets instead of the chain restaurants (which are overpriced anyways#. We had dinner one night for about $18 usd and it was fantastic. Take the bus down and back to your hotel #pay in Pesos) or it will cost you $1 per person usd each way.
