Perfect...almost!
Great beach access with life guard on duty. Plus cabanas, beach umbrellas and chaises for rent. Waiters to serve you on the beach. And a shallow 3.5 ft pool for the little ones. If this is not paradise... Ok. There are three irritants. The dress code in 2 of their restaurants. Geez, most folks staying there were families on vacation with kids. Can't they create a family area with no dress code in these restaurants? Second, they charge for Internet access which ought to be made a sin! Third, the TV is vintage!! Perfect...almost!

Great trip
The service is world class. The attention to detail and friendliness is very impressive. The resort is in need of some upgrades. Long ago I recycled the type of TV we had in our room. Decor is very outdated as well. Everything else is what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel.

Perfect place to getaway
Hotel and staff are the best on the Cancun strip. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway and have a decent travel budget, this is the place to go. Top service in all aspects. Note that food/drinks are pricey so anticipate spending more than you would at a lower rated hotel. That said, food is phenomenal and drinks are really good (and if you want beers at 1/5 of the cost, you can always pick up a few at the convenience store right outside of the Ritz Carlton driveway).

relaxing getaway
Beautiful grounds. Hotel on windward side so expect rougher seas. Walking distance to great restuarants besides the restuarants in the Ritz.

Friends getaway
It was my secod time in cancun and this time it was so much better thanks to the ritz hotel staff and ameneties. It is a great place for calm relaxing and luxurious getaway. Food, service, rooms, beach amenities (only u have to pay 10$ for the umbrella on the beach) and location are perfect! The only thing that was disappointing is spa: even as a guest of the hotel you have topay to use the facilities and the massages are pricy & so so. Therefore you you have some money to spend just go for it!
