Dare to go topless at Cancun resort for couples and singles
Temptation Resort and Spa lives up to its name at this adults-only getaway, where guests sunbathe topless. With sleek lines and a fresh, contemporary edge, this modern and chic designed hotel has entertainment readily available with plenty of things to do and see throughout the day. A vibrant, lively evening atmosphere is found at any of the five themed bars that serve premium liquor and cocktails to guests. The resort also features three outdoor swimming pools and seven Jacuzzis as well as spa treatments for some pampering and rejuvenation. Great vacation
Got a room with 2 beds, asked to move us to a room with one bed. Front desk couldn't do it that day, but were able to move us the next day, and to a better room. We didn't do the 'welcome (timeshare) tour' but saw a lot of people taking it. The food was excellent! Food at restaurants that didn't require reservations was so good we didn't want to go anywhere else, didn't want to get dressed up for the specialty restaurants anyway. Crew is very funny and there is no pressure to participate in activities if you don't want to. Variety of ages, everyone was having a good time, some wilder than others, but no one looked uncomfortable by what was going on. Service by waiters was very good, but if you tip the level of service goes to excellent. Remember to bring your own cups, the ones they provide are small. This was our 4th time at Temptation and we will definately be going back.

Most Fun Resort Around
This is a great resort that would probably actually rate a 3 or 4-star for amenities, but the fun created by the entire staff and the great service from everyone along with a huge crowd of repeat visitors makes this the best resort for grown-ups wanting to let their hair down and party like they where in college again. Realize though you have to go wanting to party; if not, look for something else. The quiet pool is nice, but you can find nicer for that kind of vacation.

Don't feel like you need to go off the resort to party at night. Cancun is known for their stellar night life, and you need to experience some of it. The resort though does a great job of keeping the party going into the wee hours of the morning, and enough people just party at the hotel to keep it a blast!!! Plus it will save you tons of money since you are spending over a $100 each night going out.

Excellent getaway!
The Good: As advertised, it's a entertaining setting with lots of fun games, good food, dated but very clean rooms, friendly/helpful staff and an adult atmosphere. The Bad: The beach. Initial sales pitch for time-shares. The Ugly: No free wi-fi. Absolute no-no in 2013. Sexi pool can get a touch dirty by the end of the day. The Verdict: While there are a few minor issues, the bottom line is that the return rate is in the high 90%. Well worth trying out. We will visit again.

Retreat from reality!
Really enjoyed this vacation! Hotel staff are amazing unlike any other place we have been in the world. You owe it to yourself to experience this resort!

Unhappy Texans
Ok for the price
Overall we had a decent time. Don't pay extra for an ocean view room because its a rip off-you will be disappointed!!! Staff was friendly and food was pretty good (not great). The quality of drinks was very disappointing! Don't get suckered into the "hotel tour" unless you plan to buy into the whole vacation/time share thing. Cancun is beautiful and we will probably return, but just not to this resort.

Stay at Tempation resort and spa
The time there was a great time. The staff there is very friendly. The food is very good. The games that they play by the pool are very funny. The only thing that I had a problem with was the room, our view was looking at the back of another building. so not a good view. This my 8 time staying there. Every year that I book the trip I take new people with me to share in the fun.

My thing that I would tell people is that when you check in to the hotel is to watch out for the time share talk. it talks up a lot of your time in one day.

That's Good Stuff!
The standard rooms were a bit small. The bathrooms don't have a door - it's all out in the open to people can see you doing your business. The pools and the beaches were great , no complaints about finding a cabana - we always found one right by the ocean after breakfast around 10am so there was no need for us to wake up early to find them. Overall - good experience. They could step it up a couple of notches on security.. Mexico is always a concern because of what's been going on and we went into other hotel lobbies where they check driver's id's when car comes in but Temptation Lobby doesn't have that security function so strange cars could possibly drive right up to where the front lobby is.
