Temptation had exciting on site events, great selection of food and resturants and an excellent variety of entertainment. We ... stayed for 9 nights and were kept busy on-site for all nine of them. We snuck off two nights to have dinner in town and check out some of the famous Cancun clubs. But the meals at the resort, nightitme entertainment, and Pady'O bar kept us entertained for the entire tip. I definitely reccomend the lobster dinner on the beach on Saturdays. Costs a little extra but well worht it.

We had a great time. We are young and like to party and get crazy so this was right up our ally, but if your looking for ... quiet, restful, or traveling with family, then i dont recommend it. The staff was good. It took about 5 minutes of waiting to get drinks. The bartenders are great. They work really hard, but there are so many people waiting for drinks that it takes a while. The entertainment was the best! They had pole dancing classes, belly dancing classes, strippers, and a lingerie casino night. All in all, we had a great time!

This was our first all inclusive vacation and we had a great time. The food was good-excellent in the restaurants and the ... buffets were as good as our expectations. The staff was very polite and helpful, but some don't speak English. The bars were lively and fun and the booze flowed freely. Suggestions to future visitors: Bring a big insulated cup to save on trips to the bar, reserve your dinner spots early, take advantage of the free activities and contests (they really add to the experience).

We went to a couple bars in the downtown area and had a lot of fun. Visit Conga's and ask for Rocky. He took great care of us. Also, we visited CocoBongo's. The cover charge is steep and you will have a hard time getting drinks, but I've never seen another bar quite like it. The entertainment was quite a show.

The resort is on the north side of the Hotel Zone, so if you take a shuttle, you're driving all the way through. If you spend ... a few extra bucks (I did on the way back), you can get a taxi direct in half the time. Check-in/check out process was incredibly fast and easy, but unless you're a member, don't try to check in before 3pm. I've never been to Temptation/Cancun before and I made this mistake of letting them know - they have a huge staff a timeshare sales people. All REALLY nice people, I think I met everyone working that day while I was sipping down their champagne, but your time will better be spent at the pool unless you are interested in investing. The hotel is medium sized and my room was on the far end - which meant climbing up and down numerous ramps and stairs. The room however was immaculate, modern and well taken care of each day. You might just want to do some pre-planning or stashing of good from the mini-bar, it ncludes 2 beers, 3 cokes, 1 v8 and a 1L bottle of water. The bed is massive, and pillows abundant, but when they say "firm mattress", they really mean stiff as a board. But if you're there with your lover this might not be such a bad thing and the floor to ceiling mirror and Channels 12/14 are just for you. The gym was fantastic, nothing like running while looking at the Caribbean. I ended up hitting the recreational paths most days with loads of other runners, bikers and rollerbladers. Completely safe, accessible more interesting a treadmill. The Sexy Pool fills up early if that's your scene, so get your towel out there in the early hours of the morning. The Quiet Pool isn't really quiet, (there's equally as many silicone filled naked breasts about) they just don't play music, so don't necessarily plan to sleep if you're hung over. I spent my entire trip lying a beach bed, there's enough of them on the coast, they're always available until 9-10ish, and if not, you can always drag an extra chair down to the beach until one is. The crowning glory of the resort was the ability to bring your own cup. I brought my 72oz Camelback Bottle and it was always brimming to the top with tequila before I could get the top completely unscrewed. I found that tipping helped the top shelf stuff find its way into my drinks. The food was all good, nothing to really write home about. However, if you're a breakfast person, I recommend omelets and mimosas and making reservations at the Italian restaurant. I didn't like that the food places had some odd overlapping hours and there wasn't a pool-side snack bar where I could just grab a snack without putting sandals and a shirt back on. The staff is all incredibly friendly and willing to help. If you're not up on your Spanish, everyone speaks English fluently and seemed to genuinely enjoy speaking with their guests. If you need money for trips, extras, tipping, etc. and you're coming from America, you might as well just hold on to your USD, everywhere I went accepted USD or plastic. If you really want to get your hands on some Pesos, the Hotel Reception Desk can also covert USD to Peso. I travelled in week 2 of December - sunny and 90 the whole time, outside of the ceremonial rain/sprinkling from approx 2:01-2:03 everyday. The only downside was that the sun wasn't really "intense" before 9 and after 4.

We had a great time at the Temptation Resort. We travel a lot and it's the only resort we have gone back to three years in a ... row. We have met the friendliest people there and enjoyed the adult oriented entertainment each year. Our room, as well as all areas of the grounds, pools, lounges and eating areas were well maintained and cleaned constantly. The beach is very nice with soft, white sand and lots of beach chairs, as well as beach beds and loungers. We ate supper at the Asian restaurant and the seafood restaurant once each, which was very good, but mainly at the buffet, which had lots of variety and the food was great. Marguarita's was also a great place to have lunch.

We completed our confined water dive certification in the states, then did the open water certification with Nautalis Dive. [...] was our dive master and I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in certification or just to dive with. He took very good care of us and made sure we all knew what to do ahead of time and once we were on the ocean floor. He was constantly pointing out different things like starfish, lobsters, crabs, eels for us to see and making us comfortable on our first ever real dives. For $25 he even took pictures of our dives and put them on a CD for us.

Not a 5 star resort by any means, but sometimes you get what you pay for. Rooms are clean but are very small, very little ... closet space and a tiny bathroom with shower only. Having 3 pools was a nice alternative and are true to their names: sexy pool, sports pool and quiet pool. There is an "upcharge" for the better meals and top shelf drinks which was odd for an "all inclusive resort". A unique experience but we will not return.

Okay - this was a fun trip at an above average resort with a great pool and beach. One good thing is that they keep putting ... money in the place for improvements. The food was not spectacular but was very good. There was a lot of entertainment at the pool by a great staff and a number of things offered to do if you so chose to participate. We have been to Mexico several times and decided not to take any excursions - so our days were at the pool from 8 until 6 or 7. The resort offered soething every night for entertainment - so be prepared.
