Nice hotel. Great buffet restaurant - apart from the extensive selection, they will also customize food for you! Try the Mayan Coffee out there. The other restaurants viz. Asian & Italian are okay. Great pool with a swim up bar.

This hotel is fantastic! We arrived really early and our room was ready in 10 minutes. The moment we walked in we were greeted by a cold towel and a drink. The concierge went over h0w our 1500 credit could be used.This is the breakdown. Only 300 can be used torward the spa. I got a 80 min vitamin c facial and a 80 min deep tissue massage. I had to come out of pocket 70 dollars but so worth it. The best massage ever!! you cannot use the 1500 credit on most of the long excusions. You can use credits for upgrade to concierge level which include lobster & steak dinner on beach and 2 20 min message for 280 credits.Photography session, ziplining, and limo to the airport. The serivce is fantastic, never had to wait at restaurants. If you give a tip to the bartender it really goes a long way.They appreciate it so much.

This was a geat trip for myself and my fiance. We had a great time and there was no need to leave the resort, everything you want is right there. The staff was fantastic and always helpfull. I highly reccomend this as a vacation spot.

Very relaxing resort. NO KIDS!!!! Smaller resort makes it relaxing but enough people there to have a good time with others or relax on your own. Everyone is very friendly.

We had a great time at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helped you out in any way you needed. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Food was good, after about a week you are ready for something different then what they have to offer but overall good stuff. Had a great time and hope to one day make it back.

The hotel was not what we expected. The pictures made it look better then it really was. The food was ok. The pool space was small...very crowded. It was much further away from the downtown area then we were told when we booked it. We did take advantage of the $1500 resort credits by doing a zipline tour which was fun. Alot of the other stuff we wanted to do was completely booked by the time we even got their which was annoying.

We spent most of our time by the pool and in the ocean. The ocean water is blue, warm and clear and the beaches are well kept. Being it is a couples only resort, there were no children running around and screaming which added to the relaxation factor. (We did visit the Moon Palace and even though it is much larger, with more restaurant choices, it wasn't as a relaxing evironment).

We stayed at Sun Palace and it was beyond amazing. We have not one single complaint! Everything and everyone exceeded our expectations. It was perfect!! The food was delish,everything was clean, everyone was professional and friendly,and helpful. The massages were great!

This was our 5th trip to Cancun so we knew what to expect and what things were important to us. Simply, we are beach people. The pools and all the extras (tours, massages and upgrades) are fine, but we don't place a high value on them. Chair/umbrella availability and beach service were the best we've ever had in Cancun. Of the five places we've stayed in Cancun (Sun Palace, Cancun Palace, Moon Palace, RIU Caribe and Dreams) Sun Palace has jumped to the top of our list!

Food was great, a huge selection and plenty of fresh fruit! The staff was very friendly and overall the resort was one of the nicer all-inclusives we've been to. The buffets had quality food and there were a lot of "on the grille" options too. One of the best steaks was the fillet at the authentic Mexican restaurant at the resort! Very relaxing, we will return.
