Sandos Cancun Luxury Resort - All Inclusive

We had a great time. The staff were very nice and always going out of their way to make sure you were happy. What's great about the hotel is that it is a nice Boutique hotel that has an intimate feel to it. It is not too large that you are overwhelmed or too small that you feel claustrophobic. The food was very good with 4 restaurants (GREAT Breakfast buffet) to choose from and lots of entertainment organized by the hotel staff. We went in December which meant on certain days the water was cool, but the heated swimming pools made up for it.

This is such a wonderful hotel, staff are fantastic, food is fabulous, the hotel and the grounds are amazing, really glad we chose this place for our holiday! Definitely book this place if you get the chance!

The staff at the Sandos was absolutely amazing and would go out of their way just to ensure guests are happy. All of the food was amazing and the pools and view was to die for! We have family in Cancun so we go 4 times a year and would without a doubt return to the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel next store is very tall and the sun disappears very quickly, I had to keep moving to get sun but its not a big deal because there are three pools and the beach is amazing.

Great place. It is smaller but has all you need. The place has the friendliest staff. Rooms have VERY comfortable beds and the food is amazing! There is no swim up bar but we stayed on the beach and soaked in the beauty. This is not a techno party place, but relaxing, and beautiful atmosphere. Would definitely stay again!

Me and my wife stayed here for a week and it was amazing! The food was very good and the staff if very friendly and on top of everything. Room was clean and the location if perfect.

If you are looking for service, this is the place to go. The entire staff puts forth the extra effort to insure your experience at the Sandos is fantastic. My wife and I are beach people, the service at the beach was outstanding, food, drink and chair/towel service. Jacob (server) would not allow me to leave the beach to go to the bar, even when it was just the two of us at the beach. The entire staff was super friendly. One tip to travellers: treat the staff the way you want to be treated. We were remembered by all the staff. From our name to what I preferred to drink and if they ran out, they would get another bottle and make sure I was happy.

Sandos Cancun is a Luxury Experience!!! We loved every moment of our holiday here. It was made so special by the amazing staff. It is a small hotel of incredible quality. The food was fabulous are we are really fussy eaters!!

If you're not much of a reader then just take this advice. Sandos Cancun is the place to stay! Ok, for those of you that like detail here it is. I surprised my girlfriend with a trip to Cancun for her birthday. I did my research and narrowed it down to Sandos Cancun and a few others. I read all the bad reviews and a few good ones. I wanted to set my expectations. We arrived at the hotel around 12:00pm and we were greeted with hot towels, complementary mango drinks and my girlfriend received a rose. I was a little concerned that check-in was 3:00pm and it was three hours away. No problem we got our room key and up to our room we went. Before going in the room I had my expectations set because I know when going abroad usually if its a 5 star then its a 3.5 star here in US. Anyway, we opened the door and were amazed. The Superior room had marble floors throughout and a partial balcony view. From our view we could see the beach on our right side and all the other hotels on the water in our left view, perfect. Our room amenities were a stocked mini fridge, 30+ flat screen, and free internet. The hotel has around 7 floors. Its not huge like the Barcelo or Iberostar which makes it more inviting. We had 24 hour room service. The staff were in our room more than we were. They cleaned our room every morning. They turned our beds back every evening. I just happened to be talking to one of concierge staff and mentioned we were here for my girlfriend's birthday. We winked at my and said I have something special I want to do for her. I wasn't sure what she was talking about. Mind you I'm just a regular guest with a regular room. Later we go to the room and were surprised again. On our bed was a huge 3-tier towel cake with rose petals. It was breath taking. My girlfriend looked at me with so much love. Of course I smiled like I planned it. :) Back to the hotel, They have about 3 restaurants and one being Japanese. You have to make a reservation for it because they cook in front of you. No biggie you can do it the same day. The food at all the restaurants were great. They aim to please no matter your nationality. The staff wait on you hand and foot. They will even go out of their way to please you. Last the outside grounds are cozy and exquisite. They have a bar, 3 Gothic pools with one encompassed warm pool, numerous chairs for laying out, covered bed hammocks, patio furniture for eating and music. The way they're constructed is very nice and well thought out. The staff pamper you with unlimited towels, drinks and food. The hotel opens up to the beach where its a view you'll never forget. I think I've covered all my trip. We'll be back for sure. Oh yeah, before we got there I was the love of her life. Now I'm a god!

LOCATION: Beautiful beach, but not the best for swimming. Strong currents. If you're looking for calm waters, go to the top of the "7". Also, Sandos doesn't have grand curb appeal. The entrance is pushed back in an alley. FOOD: Taste and quality ranged from "ok" (snack bar & room service) to delicious (restaurants). Service was always wonderful, and presentation was beautiful. HOTEL: A small hotel. Clean, beautiful, and has a nice boutique where you can get anything you need for a decent price. Great pools. Only downside is they were under construction while we were there which took away from the "luxury experience". They had guys putting up dry walls and spackling in the lobby, our room smelled like paint fumes and there was constant drilling and pounding in the hotel and outside at the pools. We stayed at another hotel the last time in Cancun, and I'd say the other one was more "luxurious". Sandos was great, but not memorable.

Wow hotel is incredible!!! I really loved it & recommend this hotel to anyone!! The staff was very friendly & polite especially the pool crew Elias & adriana!! also the bartenders rodrigo & miguel... very friendly & always making us good drinks... The hotel food is great always fresh & tasty... the pool area was very beautiful & refreshing... my room was spectacular always very neat!!! We use to get room service twice a day!!! First to clean the room and then at night fix the bed by removing extra pillows & pulling down the sheets so we can just hop in & relax!!! I definitely will come back to this hotel!!!
