Royal Solaris Cancun Resort, Marina & Spa- All Inclusive

Overall this hotel was great for the price. Lots of things for kids to keep busy. Food was good and the alcohol selection was great. Very friendly staff that will go out of their way to accommadate your needs. Rooms were average. Just speaking for our room...Bathroom had lots of leaks. We had to keep towels on the floor to soak up the water. The room was clean though. Our room was facing the lagoon not the ocean and the continuous noise (roar) from their kitchen (guessing) was very annoying. Overall for a family on a budget this was a great deal. Walked to the El Ray Ruins (3 blocks) great deal for about 4.00. Swim with the dolphins is a cool thing to do but not worth the money. The zipline excursion was very unique. The 4 in 1 Tulum adventure with the cenote and skycycle. Must do for the adventure seekers. Not for somebody with back issues. Stay away from the markets. Even Market 28..Prices very high and they are all over you like fleas on a dog. We found that the airport had cheaper prices than any markets or stores in Cancun. Go figure.

Overall we had a great experience. The food is great with culinary school trained staff. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There were a couple things on the negative side that I think a hotel of this caliber should have: An ATM machine and Foreign Exchange!!! I was told go five minutes away to find an ATM machine even though I heard there is one for the staff! In order to change dollars to pesos you had to go somewhere else.

we haven't been on vacation in 4 years - it was so wonderful to get away but the hotel consieur kept haunting us in the beginning of the trip wanting us to get a time share - so it was quite bothersome - there are no ice machines on the floors - the room was clean but beds are very hard like a rock and so were the pillows - the food was alright - everything needs updating and they need to offer more for the money -we DID have wonderful pool and beach service , all in all we were blessed to get away that was the main thing anyway

Mangenment was very rude, ruined are family vacation

Disappointing due to rules changed since our last visit. This time we couldn't visit other Royal resorts. At our last visit, a really good a la cart lunch restaurant at caribe tower was included if you stayed at the royal tower. This is the reason I will not return. Buffets got boring. The rooms can use some updating. I do like their New Years Eve party. Live band plays all types of music, party props, fire works. And their nightly music at the lobby bar is alot of fun if you don't want to go to bed or pay to go to the clubs. All staff is very friendly and hard working. Check in crew need to be more accommodating to their guests if they want return customers.

We tried to change our trip date and leave a day before planned and they would not allow us to do so, furthermore they threaten me that if I was not to pay the charges or complain they would call the authorities and it would not go well for me

We visited Cancun and lived in the hotel. The Hotel looks good, the room is clean and quiet although it is facing the ocean. the staff are friendly and always helpful for you. The food in the restaurants taste good. Anyway, the hotel is good relative to the price.

The hotel does provide all the most important things. Rooms are clean, staff is helpful, friendly and gives proper attention to the clients. A big minus is that the rooms are mostly without balcony. The advantage of this hotel is a nice beach.

We had great time at this hotel. The beach was spacious and nice and chairs were always available. Food was good and abundant and the entertainment team is working hard to ensure good experience.
