The Royal Solaris Cancun Resort, Marina & Spa is family-friendly. The all-inclusive, 300-room Cancun property has an animal-themed mini-water park, swimming pool, fitness center and three restaurants. Its 6,324-square-foot recreation area provides a place to play video games, create crafts and take painting lessons. Adult activities -- theme nights, bingo, fashion shows, aerobics -- cater to kids at heart. There is an on-site spa.

good hotel
We visited Cancun and lived in the hotel. The Hotel looks good, the room is clean and quiet although it is facing the ocean. the staff are friendly and always helpful for you. The food in the restaurants taste good. Anyway, the hotel is good relative to the price.

The hotel does provide all the most important things. Rooms are clean, staff is helpful, friendly and gives proper attention to the clients. A big minus is that the rooms are mostly without balcony. The advantage of this hotel is a nice beach.

wonderful for family vacation/honneymoon
this is one among the best vacation experience we had, everything was good, the hotel is a niece place to stay, people are friendly especially the staff employees ,laborers and workers in the hotel.they were very friendly , and very nice. I am very proud of them because they are doing their job very well, one way of encouraging patrons to come back for vacation.

toilet leaked. no balacony. no mini bar & no room service except breakfast which included both on web site. should have stayed at the gr solaris had pleasant time there in feb and sept 2012

Great vacation

The beach is the only thing worth paying for!!!
I just visited the royal Solaris with my husband and two friends. The hotel it's self is nothing special, I do have to say they do keep it very clean. The building is over dated and needs remodeling asap! Grounds are beautiful as well but this hotel was HOT 30 years ago! The food is terrible!!! All of us were literally sick and it's in the bathroom the whole trip! Do not eat the food from the snack bar, it's greasy and they never change the oil. There is really no selection for the alcohol as well. They had no corona or any other drinks that are served else where. I do have to say the staff is amazing!! They are awesome. Alejandro, Ignacio, Miguel and Rosa just to name a few were just amazing! Their beach is definitely the best. It's worth a million bucks. I couldn't get enough of it. Marco Polo restaurant looks all high class and all but the food isn't all that! I would recommend this hotel to someone that really doesn't care about the food or the room. I personally would never go back there again!!!

staff maid the difference
The hotel was fine and transportation in and out to the center was fast and cheap. What made the stay extraordinary was the staffs willingness to do whatever it took to make the customer happy. The food was good and plentiful.

GREAT VACATIONS!!
I REALLY LIKE THIS HOTEL, I CAME ABOUT 10 TIMES ALREADY, THE STAFF IS ALWAYS VERY NICE, THE JACUZZI, THE LOCATION IS GREAT!! I RECOMMENDED IT TO SOME OF MY FRIENDS, THEY WERE VERY HAPPY TOO WITH EVERYTHING!! I LOVE IT!!

Nice stay for the price
The staff at the Royal Solaris bend over backwards to make your stay there enjoyable. The only thing that they lack is more restaurants to pick from at the resort. Loved the entertainment staff...and games! They have shopping on site so that you do not have the hassle of going into downtown for gifts.
