Riu Palace Las Americas - All Inclusive

Overall great combination of location, value and service. The room was comfortable, clean and always stocked with beverages. Would recommend without reservations

So my husband and i just returned for the RPLA we were there from June 14-21 a week, and it was awesome. We have been to the caribean a couple of times and our last vacation was to Punta Cana and this place blows that resort out of the water. The staff was all very nice. When we got to the resort our room was reason which was great because we were eager to go to the beach. The beach is soo beautiful, i do like how every morning they clean up all the seaweed that washes up throughout the night. The only down fall was that there were no cabanas our umbrellas or anything with shade on the beach but if we wanted to we could go next door to the RIU Cancun and they had the cabanas on the beach. Another downfall was the reservations for dinner had to be made between 12-5 and you could only make 3 at a time so we waited like 1hour the first day which was horrible but that is all the stupid people that ask a million questions. The room was great, the resturants were great, we ate at the brazillian, (awesome), French (awesome) and the steak house which was ok. and the spanish which was ok. we did not get to eat at the japanease one though but we heard that was very good. i would say the french was my favorite one. We didnt' do anything but beach, and pool everyday except take the bus to the ferry to the island of isle majaria, where we rented golf carts and went around the island drinking corona's. we looked this resort and i am sure will return again.

This hotel was the perfect place to take your first to Cancun, Mexico. You could stay there the entire time and still feel like you have the greatest vacation! Very friendly staff who were happy to speak English. All of the food and beverages were readily available at all times. Second servings were not a problem. Great 'adult' beverages were included. Plus, room service was available, granted it was a limited menu but it was def handy!

Riu Palace Las Americas was a beautiful resort with very friendly staff that made every effort to ensure our stay was very comfortable. Very impressed from check in to check out with all employees. Bartenders, as well as the waiters walking around ensured you had your desired beverages quickly. The room was beautifully designed and cleaned each day if requested. Plenty of room in closet space and dresser drawers. Location was excellent to shopping and nightlife.

Staff was great at the Rui Palace Las Americas. Hotel was beatiful, very clean. Beach was great nice white sand lots of lounge chairs and tables never a problem finding a spot. Pool area was fun need to get a spot early chairs go quick. Nice variety of food. Mixed drinks a little on the weak side. Great view from our room (ocean and downtown). We will be going back what a great hotel.Walking distance to shopping and all the bars.

Riu have perfected the all inclusive at the Riu Palace. We had a perfect beach vacation with all the amenities and dining choices you could want.the buffet was excellent and the special resturants an exceptional experience. the rooms were clean and more than satisfactory and all the common rooms of a very high standard. All the staff were always smiling and happy to see to your every wish. We will certainly return

My husband and I just returned from 7 nights at the RIU Palace Las Americas. I can't say enough about the fabulous service and the wonderful staff. the employees couldn't seem to do enough for you and they were always extremely friendly no matter where you were in the hotel. One of the bartenders saw us out on the street when he was not working and was yelling hello and waving. The rooms were very spacious and kept spotless the entire week. The food had something for everyone, with lots of variety. The specialty resturants were very nice and the steaks were great. All in all we had no complaint and nothing but great memories!! We can't wait to go back.

My wife and I went here for our one year anniversary and when we walked into the front doors. Everything was better than expected, that is the most definitive statement I can make about this resort. While waiting in line for our hotel room keys, they send someone around to hand you drinks before you even talk to anyone at the front desk. The staff was excellent...the food was really good at all of the resteraunts, room service and in room mini-bar were good. We were so impressed with the Riu that we picked up their resort guide and will stay at this chain going forward. You are within 10 minute walking distance from several shopping centers, several nightclubs (senor frogs, coco bongo, the city) and the flea market. This place was outstanding and exceeded every expectation we had.

My stay at the RUI Palace was an awesome experience. The accommondations with the all inclusive package was just what I was looking for. The hotel room was enormous. The accessibility to the balcony for the ocean front view was impeccable. The access to the beach from the swimming pools were easily accommodating. The hotel entire set up was like something out of a movie. My overall experience staying at the RIU Palace deserves an overall rating of excellence.

This resort was BEAUTIFUL! The cleanliness was outstanding...there wasn't a leaf out of place. The staff was very friendly, and attended promptly to our every need. They work extremely hard to give their guests an extraordinary experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable, however the A/C could have been colder. There were many meal selections and several special cuisine dining rooms. Reservations for dinner were very easy to make and the food was very good. Your drink glass was never empty, however there was not a large selection of top shelf liquor. The only down side was that the nightly shows were very week. We just found other places to go. Everything is in walking distance of the resort.
