Staff was great!!!
The Staff at this Hotel was great. Willing to help and good service. Hotel does not offer much in dining options. Restaurants are closed down before the time noted. Air condition in restaurant is also turn off before closing time. This makes for a terrible dining experience. Staff is not able to turn on air or continue sevice due to hotel polices.

Great First Time Visit for Cancun
This hotel was the perfect place to take your first to Cancun, Mexico. You could stay there the entire time and still feel like you have the greatest vacation! Very friendly staff who were happy to speak English. All of the food and beverages were readily available at all times. Second servings were not a problem. Great 'adult' beverages were included. Plus, room service was available, granted it was a limited menu but it was def handy!

Nice Hotel
The RIU Palace was very nice hotel in appearance. It located right on the top of the strip, near where most of the actions are located (market, clubbing, dinning, shopping). The room was comfortable, the bed was a harder than what I used to. The bathroom was spacious. Although, the showering bathtub need to be a little larger and need lighting. The mini bar is stocked up with local liquors, beers, soft drink, and water. All you can drink!! There are 4 indoor restaurants and one outdoor. One of the indoor open most of the day for dinning (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The other three specialty restaurants (Japanese, Brazilian, Seafood )only serve dinner with reservation. The foods served here is better than average and good in quality. It can use more variety, rather than mainly Mexican style dishes. The lounge and intertaiment area a spacious, as so the amount of drinks they offer. All you can drink!!! There are two pools here. The large one located right between the two wings of the building, the viewing is great, but building tend to block off the sun after 4 pm. The beach is kind of small but it is very clean and nice. With the RIU Palace wrist band you can eat and use the facility over its next door sister RIU Cancun. Any the hotel was very nice, and I dont' mind going back again.

Highly Recommended
This is a beautiful resort, with great rooms and wonderful food and beverages. The all-inclusive program is terrific, it is so nice not to worry about how much each meal is costing, etc. The staff is really nice, and the front desk staff were extremely helpful with any questions or needs. I hated to leave...

A Great Time
The Riu Palace was a great place. The hotel is incredibly nice, and the staff attend to your every desire. If you are sitting at the lounge somebody will (within seconds) approach you to see what you want to drink. The resort is all inclusive and everything is free. The only thing is that the Taquila they have is not name brand, and you kind of tip the waiters to get the good stuff. The food is good, but not as good as some of the companies other resorts. The restaurants they have within the hotel (also free) you make a reservation to eat at are not that great and the buffet is very good. The hotel is walking distance from Coco Bango, and The City (these are two of the best nightclubs).

WONDERFUL!
The Riu Palace Las Americas is worth every penny! The minute you walk through the front doors you know that you are somewhere special. The lobby is beautiful and the view of the ocean is unbelievable. Everyone on the staff from the front desk to the waiters and bartenders treat you like royalty and make you feel welcome. The hotel is spotless - the rroms, the pool areas, the lobby - everywhere is constantly being cleaned. The food selection is very good. The buffets offer a wide variety of food to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The specialty restaurants are also very good. I will definitley return to this resort!

Outstanding place to stay
This resort was BEAUTIFUL! The cleanliness was outstanding...there wasn't a leaf out of place. The staff was very friendly, and attended promptly to our every need. They work extremely hard to give their guests an extraordinary experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable, however the A/C could have been colder. There were many meal selections and several special cuisine dining rooms. Reservations for dinner were very easy to make and the food was very good. Your drink glass was never empty, however there was not a large selection of top shelf liquor. The only down side was that the nightly shows were very week. We just found other places to go. Everything is in walking distance of the resort.
