Riu Caribe All Inclusive

fully crowded, no rooms available upon arrival, next day everything just fine...

We have been to RIU Caribe 4 times already and we simply love it here. Staff are such nice people. The entertainment crew always go out of their way to say hello. Our favorite of all things is how large the beach is and the location of the hotel. We are are in our early 30s and we do enjoy going out having a good time but we also enjoy our peace and quiet. This hotel is so perfect for that. You are only like 5min or so away from the party zone area (by car).

The food was absolutely terrible! The specialty restaurants are a little better but still need much improvement. You will starve! We only ate a few things from the buffet. The steak house was the best meal we had but that was only two meals! The hotel lobby is not air conditioned and doesn't have a door so birds fly in and out. There are no windows in the hallway to your room which is also not air conditioned. The room A/C was on full blast and still was hot. The ice machine on our floor was broken. The liquor in our bar was bottom shelf. The best thing about this hotel was the huge pool which can be crowded too, and the long beach in which the second day a bunch of seaweed washed up on the shore and they didn't clean it up! [...] The service was pretty good everyone was nice and tried to help you. The pizza place smelled good but they dont know how to make pizza's their cheese was disgusting and pizza sauce. We had to go into town to eat real food. We didn't get our moneys worth out of the all inclusive from this hotel! Remember you get what you pay for and i wish i would have spent an extra 500 to get the five star food and service. This is one of the cheapest all inclusive hotels and it definitely is! The beds are hard as a rock and you will wake up with a sore back and neck. There is not enough shower pressure or heat when you take a shower, it is very annoying! The best thing about this hotel is the pool and beach but you have to eat while your in mexico! And what is the point of paying more money when you paid for all inclusive?

Have been to Riu Caribe twice in the past and loved it, however this time it was not what it was on previous visits. There was a noticeable difference in the quality and variety of the food. The service was not a good as it used to be Had to ask three times for soap to take a shower and finally got it after talking to the manager, Ceaser. Drinks were watered down. The entertainment was a little cheezy. Riu Caribe is not what it used to be. Will stay somewhere else next vacation to Cancun. Pool is very clean and the beach is beautiful.

Excellent and very nice vacation. The only thing I didn't like was the fitness center. It needs urgent renovation.

Very nice experience, I like the hotel and the amenities, shows , food, location, we had great time , but I would say that, air conditioning is needes in tle lobby , I heard great comments from people but everybody agreed on that, we needed air!,loved the staff, very friendly and helpful, we loved Miguel at the buffet, he is the nicest person, and other people too, I didn't like that everytime I tried to book for a restaurant it was already booked, and I went early! so, we ended up eating at the buffet everyday, I am not complaining but I wanted to eat at the other restaurants, my daughters were dissapointed. Another thing about the hotel is that there is odor in the tap water,but we went to have fun outdoors. the worst was at the Market, couple of vendors are child molestors and ther offered drugs to my daughter in too seconds when I looked away that was horrible experience. Tourists be aware of Market 28!(not all vendors)

Our stay was great. This hotel is very nice. It is located across from Isla Mujeres making the ocean water very calm! In four trips to Cancun, (all at different hotels) we enjoyed the ocean the most at this hotel. The food was good. The service was excellent. The rooms were average, but the view was nice. Overall, it was a good value, and we were pleased with our stay.

This hotel was great! The rooms were clean, the pool was spotless, the beach was big and clean, and the drinks were flowing. The hotel is located just a short bus ride from anything you would want to do. The best part about the hotel was the service. The staff, especially Enrique, was acomodating, always friendly, helpful, etc. I would stay here again and I definitely recommend this hotel!

SO -CALLED RESERVE RESTAURANTS CUOLD BE IMPROVED. MEXICAN TERRIBLE,DISGRACE TO THE MEXICAN KITCHEN. DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE QUALITY OF WINES (WHITE OR RED)AT ALL INCLUSIVE HOTELS IN MEXICO. WE HAVE BEEN IN 6-7 DIFFERENT ALL-INCLUSIVE HOTELS IN THE CANCUN AREA. TABLE WINES ARE VERY VERY POOR STANDARDS . DO NOT UNDERSTAND AS YOU CAN BUY EXCELLENT CHEAP WINES IN THE WORLD TODAY. ALSO THIS HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER UPGRADES WINES FOR PURCHASE. WINE QUALITY HAS TO IMPROVE.!!!!
