The Riu Palace Peninsula has clinched a place among the luxury hotels on Cancun's Hotel Zone.The hotel is located 1.5 miles from a shopping center, just 3 miles from downtown Cancun, and 13 miles from the Cancun (CUN) International Airport. Family with teen girls
Fantastic experience at this newest Riu Palace. Have stayed in 2 others in the area previously. The Peninsula does lack the charm of the Las Americas and the one at Playa Del Carmen. The lobby feels more like a shopping mall or a modern airport. However the amenities and space are wonderful. It doesnt feel cramped at all. The rooms are great apart from one small complaint, the bath tub in the room just seems like a waste of space. Bigger beds or more "living" space would've been my preference. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay here.

This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort. It was an awesome experience. The resort was spectacular and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious with many diverse options. The water was crystal clear and entertainment was provided each night we were there. We would definitely recommend this resort!!

THE HOTEL ROOM WAS SO CLEAN YOU COULD EAT OFF THE FLOOR! THE POOL WAS NICE! THE BEACH WAS THE BEST! I WOULD GO BACK IN A HEARTBEAT! THE STAFF REALLY MAKES IT! THEY WILL BEND OVER BACKWARD FOR YOU! TIP THEM WELL!!!!!!!

Hubby's Bday Celebration
Our experience @ Riu Peninsula was awesome. Our time spent was a great one. Staff is exceptional, rooms are great and food was a 7 out of 10. Overall it was an amazing experience.
