Paradisus Cancun Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

This hotel is FABOULOUS and HUGE! My wife and I stayed during Christmas week and enjoyed every piece of ALL INCLUSIVE deal. Not only that, ALL Staff in hotel were friendly especially in restaurants and housemaids. Only I had little problem was NO early check-in. We were arrived at the hotel 1PM and had to wait until 3PM to get a room. While waiting, we started to explore the restaurant with ALL INCLUSIVE deal. I recommend this resort. Plenty of activities during day time. I love the Restaurants the most. Good quality food and services.

We have passed end of year in 2011 in Cancun as well. However end of 2012 was a special one for us and our hotel arrangement through this website made the whole difference. Excellent Choice for a late booking. Very good treatment in all aspects and we were very happy on the choice of the hotel, rooms and the whole package.

Service was great A+++++ and the beach is perfect. Lifeguards were alert and a plus...a few saves while we were there. Drinks were great. Night club/lounge is nice. The Spa tries, but fails (we spent the same money at the Spa at Secrets a few hotels down the beach which was amazing). However, Resort is showing its age, even with the significant refurbishment. Lipstick on a pig kind of thing. Casual taco bar restaurant is worthy of comment as is the high end Tempo restaurant with tasting and wine pairing menu. The Sushi and Tapas restaurants were bad.

Only down fall is that you have to make a reservation everyday to the restaurant of your choice, for dinner. Otherwise you are stuck eating at the buffet. Buffet is nice but gets a little boring after an 8 day stay. Bartenders in the main bar at night are awesome!

If I could I would give this hotel a 4.5, I would. The only thing deducting that .5 point is the entertainment provided. It might be me but I didn't feel like the hotel had very great entertainment. I would have liked to see more local Mexican music than the typical Americanized music. Even still the location for the live entertainment was indoors while I felt had it been outdoors off the beach area it would have been a more pleasant atmosphere. Also they did not do a very good job promoting the activities the hotel offered with the all-inclusive package. The one thing my husband griped about was the amount of time it took for us to check in, but I think that was more us being picky than anything. After the first day, it became very easy to enjoy the rest of our stay despite the construction still going on December 5th-12th. However, they ended up putting us in building 1 so construction was not bad at all there. Now to the positives, the staff was VERY friendly, especially in the bars and restaurants. However, the service on the beach was very few in between, you will be better off to just walk up to the bar yourself. They were definitely nice when they did come to take your order but we could go a full hour before seeing someone to take our order while we were on the beach. We were unaware that reservations needed to be made in order to eat in the restaurants but no biggie. We had the buffet the first night... mediocre, and then just ordered reservations for the remaining of the nights we stayed. ALL of the restaurants were absolutely superb!! So if you read this before getting there, call the hotel to book reservations for dinner! The breakfast buffet was pretty good though. For lunch we just ate from one of the bars. This hotel was really pretty despite construction and will be even prettier once construction is complete. We rented a car while there and never once had issues with damage or theft. I felt very comfortable in that regard. If you want advice on more market shopping don't ask the front desk, ask one of the bartenders outdoors. We asked both and the bartenders always gave us the best advice for more local things to do. The tour pickups were awesome, never had any issues. Do lots of tours! We did Chichen Itza w/a cenote swim, Tulum ruins w/Xel-Ha (by far my favorite, snorkeling at Xel-Ha was awesome!), and a Capitan Hook dinner and show. Overall, I would book with this hotel again if we return. There are just so many places to visit in the world! Have fun!

No entertainment, too much constructions Food is average, not a lot variates. But promising, after everything complete. According to staff its going to be more restaurants, shows, better food. I hope . Location is good , nice beach People are very friendly and helpful. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend right now, in this time. Maybe in a several month

We made a reservation to this resort with a thanksgiving deal and were very satisfied with the hotel. Like other reviews, the renovation work is still ongoing in the hotel and it seems to be continued several months. So there are some noise, bad smells at some point. Sometimes, some representatives try to promote something but it is okay if you can escape from that (We did as if we don't understand English very well). However, the food and service quality is quite great and beach and pools are as good as other 4-star level resorts. Location is good for ones who want to be only at hotels because it is closer to airport, not to city area. The staff's English is not so perfect so it might be inconvenient but it is endurable. I think if you can make a deal around $750-800 per person for 4 nights the resort is quite competitive. If you pay more, it might be a so-so. For family it is good cause kids club, food, kids pool is good. For couple, I think it is good. Cause it is not an adult-only place, so you should think of that. Kids are always.... Anyway we are very satisfied with this resort at the cost we paid. If we can get the same deal with the same price, we definitely go again if we can afford.

Everything was excellent ! The staff were courteous & accommodating & lots of good food. Service was fast.

This hotel is completely and totally underrated! I stayed here for 5 days with my boyfriend and had an amazing time. While the rooms were basic but clean, the rest of the hotel is developing into a 5 star resort. There is some construction going on in the hotel but it is not significant enough to disrupt your vacation. By far the best part of this trip was the food and the service. I have stayed at all inclusive hotels around the world and none of them have compared to this one. While there is a basic buffet, there are cuisine specific restaurants with high quality food. Once the renovation of the hotel is complete, there will be 12 restaurants to choose from. I was very impressed, especially by the Tempo Restaurant. Webster was our server and was extremely attentive and a delight to be around. Additionally, the other hotel staff were extremely accommodating if we needed anything at all. Take of advantage of this hotel while it is in transition, as the rates are going to skyrocket once the state of the art renovations are complete. You'll certainly enjoy your time!

Great gateway was very relaxing Staff was very nice and helpful .The restaurants where beautiful and the food was excellent .
