DISAPPOINTED WILL NOT GO BACK !!!

WE DID NOT OUR UPGRADE NO KINGSIZE BED OR COFFEEMAKERS LIKE WE HAVE HAD IN THE PAST YEARS THAT WE STAYED THERE. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY HAD NONE AND WERE TOLD WE COULD UPGRADE FOR A ADDITIONAL 109.00 PER NIGHT.THE FOOD WAS AWFUL WE ATE OUT AT OTHER RESTAURANTS WHICH ENDED UP COSTING US A ADDITIONAL 400.00 DOLLARSTHIS IS ALL-INCLUSIVE. WE HAD TO CHANGE ROOMS BECAUSE OF PROBLEMS. THE WATER IN THE BATH WAS RUSTY THE TOLIET BROKE FAUCETS LEAKED . THE SHOWS WERE OK AND MOST OF THE STAFF WAS CARELESS ABOUT YOUR NEEDS. THE LOBBY WAS REALLY PRETTY AND GROUND WERE WELL KEPT WE DIFFENTLY WILL NOT GO BACK

Horrible

Believe what the other reviews say. This was a horrible experience. The hotel was dirty and run down. We stayed there as part of our honeymoon and we stated that in the reservation. When we reached the check-in, the only rooms available were two double beds. The beds had bed bugs which we discovered as we were packing. The elevator broke while we were in it. There is no emergency phone in the elevator so we had to wait until somebody discovered it. Management never came to us to make sure we were ok. We were stuck in the elevator with no power for almost 15 minutes. It was so scary!!

Bachelorette Party Fun

We came here for a long weekend for my sister’s bachelorette party. It was a great location for our group since we were so close to downtown. We were upgraded to an ocean view room (did not receive and upgraded bracelet). They were able to accommodate us with rooms next to each other as well. The rooms were lovely and spotless each day. We loved all of the bar staff and Polly the waitress on the beach. They went out of their way to make our weekend amazing! The food was pretty good. Breakfast and Lunch at the buffet were nice although there was little variety. Dinner we went to the Mexican and Italian a la cartes as well. We preferred the Mexican for the food and service. The Italian does not allow tables larger than 4 which was an issue for us. They were nice enough to sit us outside but it was just disorganized. We received the wrong order and everything was a little off. The beach was wonderful and we never had problems getting loungers. The water does go to only about your thighs but it was pretty calm so we would just go sit. The pools were nice as well with one having a swim up bar. The only issue is that they have less loungers here. Overall we thought this was a perfect hotel for our needs… clean, decent food, good beverages, and a fun atmosphere.

Great location!

I stayed ar this resort for a couple of days with some friends. We are all in our mid-twenties and wanted a place close to downtown with a nice beach. That's exactly what we got! The location couldn't be better, we walked home every night from the clubs and it didn't take more than fifteen minutes. The staff is great. The entertainment group did fun activities during the day (there is also a quieter pool if you don't want to be surrounded by games) and also sells tickets to different clubs at night. I would suggest buying through them. For the same price as at the door you get free transportation and a table at each club. The tables are essential because some places are scarefully crowded and the table gives you more space and your own waiter so you don't have to worry about waiting in lines for drinks. Often they just do bottle service and all drinks are included. Food- the food is ok. We did not do the grand option and looking back think it would have been worthwhile. We were only there for a couple days but if there longer may have gotten bored so an extra restaurant would have been nice. They have a lot of options though. I am a pescatarian and my one friend is on a gluten free diet and we were both able to eat plenty! They pour the drink strong and use name brand liquors (Bacardi, smirnof, etc). I would suggest bringing a nalgene to fill with water to make life easier (they have water stations at the buffet). You have to make reservations for the sit down but it is worth it. Kind of a pain to go down there at 730am but we all took turns (calling would have been more convenient though). Room-we were in the remodeled rooms. We had a great view of the ocean and were all next to each other (rare at a Mexican hotel). We had no issues with air conditioning. Beach- very nice, soft sand. It is very calm and shallow- not possibly to boogy board but perfect for standing in and enjoying a cocktail Pool- 2 pools both very clean. Pool bar was great and clean (sometimes they attract bees- not here!)

Lots of Room For Improvement

Not what I was expecting; food was absolutely pitiful. Besides the snack bar by the pool which offered hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and tacos, the selection of food was uninspiring. The Italian and Mexican restaurants were bland. It seemed they recycled the same ingredients between the snack bar, restaurants, and buffet. There are zero clocks on the premises. The same music was played everyday in the same order. Entertainment left something to be desired; karaoke lasted for 5 or so songs. The only decent entertainment was the Fire Spinners one night.

Disaster

this hotel was not satisfactory. It's right in the split at the end of the hotel zone which makes it difficult to be dropped off when taking the bus. We paid for an upgrade on our room and they did not provide it. This was our tenth time in cancun but we will Never stay here again. We are not complainers at all but this hotel changed us. They had to switch our room the first nite because the air conditioner did not work. The one in the new room didn't either. The water pipes busted in the Libby and flooded the whole area. It was ridiculous. Hardly any of the staff spoke English. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Not recommended

This is my third trip to Cancun to all inclusive resort. I've never saw the worse place. Sevice is very poor, the food in main international buffet is not good at all, and very limited variaty. There are 2 restaurants which were open for dinner by reservation, those places were good. To get a drink you have to go each time to the bar. They hardly speak english. No entertaintment. Ocean os O.K. Lagoon, so never has waves. But you have to go in the water really far from beach in order to swim, otherwise the water is up to your knee. I will never come back to the place.

No renovation, no updates

The stuff seemed to be friendly only with the Spanish-speaking people. Their attitude to us and, as a result, level of service changed depending on what language we were speaking. The waiters need more training. Rooms need renovation. Free Internet would be a great improvement.

in need of a major makeover !!!

we didnt do much at the hotel , it was too dirty even my kids were disgusted! our celling in the shower was leaking from the people obove us. the air condition in our room didnt work, they switched our room after the first night in which i got an astma attack from not being able to breath....was a waste of money and vacation time. the common areas are not airconditioned at all, so you basically eat dinner while you sweat into your plate!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO not book this hotel as it was falsly advertized by orbits to be "recently renovated and air conditioned, unless of corse you want to stay at a 1/2 a * property ! and by the way, the beach smelled like sewer !!!
