Moon Palace Golf and Spa Resort All Inclusive

The place is huge. Moon Palace has 3 huge section. You have 6-8 different type of meal they serve. Mostly fine dinning and buffet. The Selvatica Zip-line and Cenote Adventure is a MUST!!! Me, my bf and friends had a BLAST!!! Staying in a PALACE RESORT gives you a passport to eat free in any PALACE RESORT. Tours are included which is worth it.

great resort other than instead of a true concierge service...you a get a time share salesman. All other services and staff were great. Food very good. Try the caribean restaraunt as it seemed the best to us.

Great location. close to the airport. room was clean and comfortable. food was excellent. pools were huge. staff was very friendly. The non motorized stuff need to be overhauled but overall, it was a great deal.

This is a great resort with very friendly staff and plenty of space. Brazilian best place to eat. Only negative was the beach. The beach itself is great but the water is not fit for swimming. If you like being in the ocean this is not the resort you want to visit. Seven mile beach in Jamaica is where you should go. Over all we had a great time and a great vacation. If you decide on Moon Palace be sure to visit the other Palace resorts. Sun Palace has a fantastic beach and great waves.

The hotel itself was amazing. The food was great and i couldnt have asked for a more attentive and friendly staff. The only problems we ran inot were due to the lack of people staying at the hotel. Due to this, the hotel cut back on a lot of things such as shuttles and the trips in the all inclusive which was very disappointing. They only had 3 sshuttles all day going to the other hotels that once filled, you were out of luck. Other than that this hotel is wonderful, clean and a great time. Just watch out for the occasional snob since it is a nicer hotel.

Way too big, takes forever to get anywhere. Food ,on a scale of 1-10, maybe a 4,breakfast is the best meal. Very family oriented, would definately not recommend to a couple, and its too far away from everything in Cancun

Great Hotel and service.We tried all the restaurants and all of them average at best. They all looked like they would be good but they are not. Location is far from everything. They offer complimentary buses but only a couple times a day, they start at noon and very strict on return policies. If you want to take a taxi it is about $25 one way to Cancun! that can get really expensive.They really need to offer more of the transportation,it is probably the only reason i would not go back. Other than that we loved the hotel and all it had to offer. Beach is big but not that nice,we never saw anyone swimming in it. Again the service was great! Our vacation was a real good one.

Our stay was very enjoyable. I believe there is a little something for everyone. The main pool located by the Sunrise lobby was a lot of fun, great music and a really great entertainment staff. The atmosphere was excellent for teenagers (I traveled with three) and the young at heart.

This was our 2nd time at Moon Palace. We stayed last year on the Sunrise side and wanted near the same location. We had 36 people in our group last year for my daughter's wedding week and we used palace resorts group booking. It was a frustrating process. Their travel agents kept messing up and it was hard to get all our reservation information and transfers in order. This year we had 17 in our group booked. Orbitz was easy to book and all reservations/transfers were fine except the front desk wanted to separate our group between Sunrise and Nizuk. Moon Palace is huge so this was a hassle with the front desk to put us all on the same area. They blamed it on not using "their reservation system." [...] was borderline rude. [...] (on the other hand) was helpful. (Plus there was a push for buying time shares in the palace resorts which was a turn off.)The food and rooms at Moon Palace are wonderful. Most of the bartenders are good except [...] at the pool bar. He is a jerk unless you tip him (yes it is supposed to be all tips included but unfortunately those that tip get better service.) For the most part Moon Palace is great, but the decline in service this year is a negative so we are looking around for other resorts for next summer. But who knows, we may forgive them by next year. :)

Meet with your guest services rep right away and book your included tours. It can take a bit of time but if you know what you want and get it all done in one shot it is much better! The included tours had very good and knowladgeable guides. The nightly shows were entertaining. Between the dining options and shows, we never felt the need to leave the hotel in the evening (but we're not big night life or party people).
