Great place with wonderful service
Almost too big, but a very nice place. Great food, service, and cocktails. The only negative is that its not within walking distance of downtown.

Moon Palace and it's ...
Moon Palace and it's staff go that one extra step to ensure that you enjoy your stay. The complex is spotless, the food is excellent and the mini bar complete with four bottles of liquor in your room make for a wonderful experience. Ocean front ocean view means 50yards from the sea and in Cancun that means a beautiful sunrise every morning. Never had room service. Wines for dinner were French, Argentinian Chilien etc top class. All in all one of my best vacations.Downside for us was that it is too big. One mile from from one end of the beach/hotel to the other. Couldn't get that nice sense of comaraderie that we usually find in a vacation resort.

Great Vacation spot
We stayed at the Moon Palace for our Honeymoon. We felt very welcomed and attended to. We loved all the options for different food and drinks. Also we loved the opurtunity to go to a different hotel and have those same amenities.

Beautiful Resort!
This was our first trip to Moon Palace and we had a wonderful time! There is plenty to do whether you like to play tennis, mini-golf, basketball, ride bike, kayak, or just hang out by the pool. The grounds were beautiful and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The food was OK (nothing special), and the beach was nice to walk..not a good swimming beach. One disappointment was that they kept pushing the 90 minute resort tour (i.e..timeshare sales pitch). We all had a good time and would definately go back.

Super stay at Moon Palace
The resort had plenty to keep you busy, but the added excursions really made for an enjoyable week. I would suggest the snorkeling at the Isle of Mujeres, so many fish were right at arms length for most of the time. I would definately take this trip again.

This is the second all-inclusive resort we have been to in Mexico. Both of them were excellent. The resort staff go the extra mile and make you feel like you are the only guests at the resort.

second time at this hotel and it was even beter than the first time. They ameneties are even better than our previous visit 5 years ago. Their is so much to do and so much to see it is just great. The shuttles that are now available to take you back and forth on the resort are great. The rooms are spacious and very well kept. The food was great at all of the restaurants and room service.

Wonderful wedding setting
We had a party of about 25 at Moon Palace for 2 weddings. The resort was not busy because of the swine flu scare. We had wonderful rooms, great service. We had no complaints about food or drinks. The service by all the employees was perfect. The variety of restaurants was very good. We just enjoyed everything about our vacation.

Totally worth the money!!
Wow this place is outstanding! My husband and I vacationed here in March of this year, to get married and relax after returning from Iraq. I read hundreds of reviews before booking our hotel which helped so hopefully this helps someone make a GREAT decision. (ages: me:21 husband:26) When we first arrived ar MP we were greeted with cool towels and a rose for me. We arrived before check in time so we hung out at the lobby bar (we stayed on the Nizuc side). We knew the instant we got there this trip was going to be fabulous! The staff were all extremley helpful and friendly. When it came time to check in, it didnt take long. (It would be a good idea to book trips and stuff before you explore to get it out of the way) When you book for a week you get unlimited tours (though some different tours not included. We decided to book Chichen Itza and Wet and Wild. Chichen Itza was very interesting, if you go make sure you bring water and sunblock..it gets pretty warm! Another day we went to Wet and Wild...it was cool, Ive seen better waterparks, but we had fun. Instead of taking the bus back from W&W, we opted for the ferry (free) which was really cool. The entertainment staff was hilarious! It was a good time with a great view of the ocean. Back at the resort... There is just so much to do!! I read reviews about bad food, but we thought it was great. The buffetts were more on the OK side, but what can you expect from a buffett. The other resturaunts were very nice with great food. If you like sushi try Momohahna on Sunrise side. Italian food? Golf side. Mexican or Brazilian? Nizuc. The pools were awesome! Swip up bars, seaside grills, live entertainment (fire show...AWESOME)were all great. If you get tired of pools and bars (which we didnt haha) try the mini golf or water activities. If you go down to the beach there is parasailing, kayaking and seadoos (extra charge). We parasailed and the view was very pretty! As for the beach.. The beach was nice (This was my first time at any beach) You probably wont want to swim in the ocean though, some did, but I found it very seaweedy. They constanly had a sweeper come along the beach, but the current just pulled seaweed right back up. We didnt mind this though, thats what the great pools are for anyway. There are "special" places on the beach for "VIP" bracelets.(black) Nothing special at all us regular folks had nice places as well..haha. On to nightlife.. there is a dance club called Andromeda on the sunrise side, we went there one night and had a blast..drinking margaritas and dancing like fools! We traveled to downtown Cancun two nights...IF YOU DO PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS TIP! The first night we went to "The City" which is "the hottest nightclub" I beg to differ...and by the way if anyone tells you Palace resorts are VIP they are wrong...YOU ARE ONLY VIP IF YOU BOOK A CLUB HOPPER TOUR OR LEAP FROG TOUR. "the city" cost $50 cover charge per person. "unlimited drinks" they filled your 8 oz cup 1/2 full of beer and expected a tip everytime, if you wanted liquor you are SOL. The club was full of what appeared to be 16-17 yr olds..so we left about 10 mins in. (granted we did travel during spring break unintentionally) Now if you want to really be VIP and have fun at bars and clubs book a bar hop trip..it costs 70 per person and you travel to three or four places (our trip went to Corona Bar, Bonga Bar, and Cocobongo.. you have a personal travel guy who takes you into the club gets your drinks for you (two at a time) and makes sure you have a great time...No lines and guaranteed tables! Be sure to tip the tour guide though they are awesome. Resort weddings...beautiful, we had an intimate ceremony (free package, paid for pics, cake and flowers) which was perfect. Our wedding planner was great. When you get married at the resort or on a honeymoon, you are considered honeymooners (pink bracelet) we got special gifts in our room, a candlelight dinner and a special cocktail party. The...
