ME Cancun - All Inclusive - Adults Oriented

Overall experience was good. Great food and service.

This "all-inclusive" resort is not so "all" inclusive. We got the deluxe ocean view room, and here are a few things we found out are not included: *the canopy beds by the pool and beach are an extra $30/day #this means that the beach chairs are typically full early on and we actually had to lay our towels in the sand once in 4 days# *the pool by the beach #infinity pool# is $40/day to enter that VIP area, so if you don't do that then you only have one large pool *Room service is $5/delivery PER PERSON *Some foods that would be included at other resorts are an "up-charge" *The room mini-fridge is restocked each day, but with only 2 beers/2 sodas/2 waters... everything else that they put in the fridge has a yellow sticker on it that is not included, so it's an "up-charge" *good luck getting a waiter to come take orders while you lay out, once in a while you will get a good one, that will come back more than once, usually no one even comes around everywhere. If you decide to get a drink at the bar/swim up bar, be prepaired to wait standing at the bar for about 15 minutes before you get a drink #even if you are the only person standing there# *You have to sign your check when you get a drink or food anywhere, print name/room number/sign/ has a tip line, and new total line... after every drink... even soaking wet at the swim up bar... but the check says No Charge at the top, and the bottom it says Tip is included... so why we have to do all this, I don't understand *Every restaurant needs a reservation to go to it... and make sure to do it for a day early if you want to be able to pick your dinner time *the e-cafe is open from 7am-11pm, the coffee is pretty good, but the pastries are pretty bland, and they once they run out, they are out for the day... it is the only place that has to-go boxes to take pastries to your room... but you have to pay for the chocolate truffles, but not the mini cheesecakes, so the truffles are probably REALLY old *during our 4 day stay, we had quite a few times that we would go up to multiple bars, and they always seemed to be "not open yet" even at 5pm... so I'm not sure where you are able to get drinks at the in-between times. *The safes have an outlet inside of them #although ours did not work#, make sure to put all things worth ANY value inside the safe... otherwise when they come in to clean or turn the room down, they will not do continue and will lock your door, so you have to go down to the front desk, wait in line, just to get your room key card turned back on. All because you left a camera on the nightstand charging. *You better love loud techno music! ... that is the only music they play! Sorry this was so long, just want people to be aware of how this place nickel and dimes you. We will never stay there again #which we heard a few other people mention that same remark while we were there#.

The food was very good for an all inclusive place, you can choose from 4 different restaurants - Japanese teppanyaki or sushi, Mexican, Mediterranean, or Brazilian barbeque. The quality was above what you would normally get from an all inclusive. The staff are all extremely friendly and don't try to force you into a "timeshare" breakfast like many other places in Mexico. The rooms were clean and well designed, modern looking. The pool is large and the bar staff at the pool were also great. The beach area is also one of the better ones along the whole strip. My only complaint with this place is there is limited seating at the pool (and the beach to some degree), and most people wake up very early and go put their stuff on some chairs/cabanas to reserve them even though they aren't there for most of the day. They should have some sort of one hour max hold rule so people can't just hog the spots all day.

beautiful hotels the only thing it lacked was entertainment during the day and in the evening it seem like the same song was playing all week over the loudspeakers

I will only stay at the ME Cancun after this trip. The all-inclusive package makes the vacation truly hassle-free and fully relaxing. Plus, TIPS ARE INCLUDED! I stayed on The Level and the extras were worth far more than the small extra fee per night. Servers are constantly renewing your drinks by the pool and on the beach quickly and efficiently and the food is wonderful. I definitely suggest trying the ceviche at the Beach House. The ice used in drinks and the water they serve you at meals is even crisp, clean and totaly safe to drink. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the mood for chic, relaxing, worry-free vacation!

It was great. I would recommend upgrading to the private terrace rooms. The cost to upgrade is minimal and well worth it. I liked that people dressed to go to dinner (no flip-flops and bathing suits) and the food was excellent. We were also able to meet a lot of fun people from around the world. It was a wonderful vacation.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff was awesome! Would def recommend!

we were there for 7 nights, it was an awesome vacation. the place was very beautiful, very modern design, relaxing, good service, good food....... I recommend everyone to go to this place

Very nice adult resort. Great beach access, centrally located, great pool area. No small children running around. Resort rooms and facilities posh but some minor issues such as in room mini bar refrigerator and in room telephone did not work. No balconies available.... But windows partially open to hear ocean at night. Most staff helpful and professional... Some restaurant servers great and some not so... Food and drinks only average and very pricey. If you visit, use the ME Complete, mostly all inclusive plan. Caution, read the plan "fine print" on what is and is not included with the all inclusive pan.

Very relaxing. There were times when restaurant service was a bit slow. Other than that, perfect vacation.
