The Live Aqua Cancun is a 371-room, nine-floor oasis on the Yucatan Peninsula. The resort has Mayan-inspired architecture with modern touches. The haute regional cuisine, exotic dining venues, posh bars and lounges and a spa informed by Mayan rituals are nice touches. La Habichuela down the street is FABULOUS! I recommend it highly. Taco grill good for quick lunch. Get liquor at the mall, much cheaper.

Wonderful Spa Hotel
This hotel was lovely. There were 8 pools and each pool was a different temperature. Each room faces the ocean. This hotel is very very clean. The gym is great. We worked out each day. I loved ths hotel. The staff was very nice to us. The only thing I did not like is that they try to sell you tours and other services before they will take you to your room. It gets a big annoying. But after that, it was smooth. The hotel was peaceful. Great for travelers that want to relax and like massages and spa services. I felt very safe there also. I would check into this hotel again.

We ate at La Madonna across the street at the Isla Mall. The food is great and also we ate at Lorenzillos. The lobster was incredible. I loved both restaurants. You have to take a bus to Lorenzillos. It's about a 5 minute bus ride and costs less than a dollar a person.

Absolutely Wonderful!
This was probably one of the best vacations I've every had. The property was absolutely gorgeous. The staff were wonderful. The food was amazing. I am definitely planning on going back again!

the best stay ever
I love this hotel everyone was so nice, attentive and friendly. So clean well orginized did not fall short of anything. Across from the mail which was a plus and a short bus ride from the night life.Enjoyed my stay can wait to go back. RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Great getaway
Just needed a four night getaway mostly just to chill. One of the best hotels that I have stayed out of about 50 visits to Cancun. Will return.

Super Great Experience!
Absolutely Relaxing / Great Experience I just returned from my first trip to Cancun and Live Aqua. My 5 day trip was just perfect! The Hotel as described by many reviewers is just heaven. A few "Hick Up's" at the Front Desk but the rest was absolutely perfect! The Pools are fantastic, clean and the service is swift and friendly. The Spa was absolutely fantastic. Service was outstanding! The overall hotel is kept immaculate!

Happy Relaxed Vacationer
Great relaxing vacation
This was my first all inclusive vacation and let me tell you...it was wonderful! The staff at the resort was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the drinks were just as good. Make sure to get an oceanview room because waking up to clear blue waters and view of the resort pool area starts your day off right. In my opinion, this resort seemed to attract more couples than party goers especially during the weekdays. However, if you are going to Cancun to relax then this is definitely the right place.

Live Aqua has a activity staff members who meet at the lobby bar every night and take guests of the hotel to different night clubs. After two nights of venturing out ourselves, we found that it was a lot more fun going with other hotel guests. Transportation to the clubs was provided.
