Tropical Cancun beach retreat near the convention center and nightlife
The tranquil, upscale InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort is steps from the sparkling Caribbean Sea. The resort is convenient for both leisure and business travelers with an address near the convention center and nightlife. Two outdoor pools, a whirlpool, massage services and a 24-hour fitness center are met by offerings such as water sports, two restaurants, two bars and a casual cafe. Not Impressed and definitely not a 4*
Very loud, the bathroom was remodeled but the shower was unlevel causing flooding every single time I took a shower. They were not able to do anything to correct that NOR did they offer to move me to another room. Very disappointing, not a 4 star hotel, more like a 3 star, maybe. I travel a lot and was not happy with this and would never stay there again.

Good Beach, Mediocer Hotel
This hotel was ok. I liked that it was on the beach. The pool was big and felt warm when you got into it. The location was ok, the Hyatt Regency Cancun was better. Sometimes very noisty. Overall hotel wasn´t bad, but I wouldn´t pay to stay here again unless it was free.

Too Many Other Options
Didn't sleep for the entire week. The hotel was very, very, very loud. All the noise from the lobby, traffic, bar and piano area echoed through the entire hotel on the tile floors. The poor acoustics amplified all the noise and felt as if all the yelling, singing and noise was right in the room. I was offered a room change, but it was a downgraded room. If you want a restful, peaceful vacation, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.

Great location and great beach
My trip to Cancun was for bussiness reasons but staying one more day for fun at this hotel make it worth it. Great beach, lots of chairs and space for kids to play in the sand and the beach looks like a pool. Clean room,comfy beds, nice toileteries and even ocean view just because it was available! I would have like some kind of breakfast included deal so I could have start my day just at this site and enjoyed the sun.

Tired road warrior
Great hotel for attending business conf
I was in Cancun for a Conference. The Convetion Center is less than 10 min walking from the hotel. There are other hotels closer, but I beleive this one is better located as at night you are able to relax and take your mind off as you do not run into people that you worked with the whole day.
