Far enough but also very close
Great hotel for anyone over 30 that is looking for a vacation that is not over run by 20 year olds on spring break. It's close enough to the night life that if you decide to go out for a drink or a little dancing you can walk, but far enough away that you can still be secluded from all the "partiers". The beach is amazing, never overcrowded. The only downfall is there is only 1 restaurant on premises, although a very good restaurant I would have preferred a little more choice. Overall a really nice hotel.

Nothing really starts happening until midnight and always negotiate the price for the club entry fees, you will be quoted a very high price at first, never accept that price..

this hotel has a good location that closes to every thing and specially clubs and their services were fantastic i really like how they serve people i enjoyed my time and im planning to come again to Hyatt Regency

The staff and manager were rude. They treated different customers unfairly and made unreasonable mistakes.

In town and great swiming
If I could bring my grand kids anywhere it would be to here. The staff are very helpful and the food is very good. Close to everything you can do in Cancun too.

Tasteful taste of Mexico
Lovely hotel room but the aspect left a little to be desired. The staff were very helpful. Location was good and within easy access to the lovely beaches of Cancun and the township

Make sure you go to Xcaret when in the area as I have been told its lovely but we didn't know and missed going there.

I really like this hotel. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. Location is great: bars, cafes and restaurants are close to the hotel. And beach is beautiful! I definately would stay in this hotel if I went to Cancun again.

friends Mexican vacation
Staying at the Hyatt was fantastic and we will surely return. We hopped the local bus to access ever location we were looking for at a fraction of a cab fare. We went to Fred's, a local seafood restaurant, which we highly recommend-best food of a 2 week vacation. The food in the hotel was above par though a bit pricy and the breakfast buffet was excellent and well worth the cost. Our wait staff were friendly and good conversationalist and attentive. The beach was beautiful with plenty of chairs and tiki huts. Over all it was a fabulous 4 night stay.

We went by bus to the newly opened Cancun Museum which was excellent a must see while staying in Cancun.
