OK place , very nice beach setup
Our room faced the lobby , the noise from the other hotel condenser units made it almost impossible to sit on the balcony . breakfast cost 300 pesos per person , 28 dollars us ,no free continential bfast . Pool very nice .

Staff is awesome from the check in process, beach service, room service and check out. Rooms are clean and tidy. View is amazing. Location to all the nightlife is great!!

Far enough but also very close
Great hotel for anyone over 30 that is looking for a vacation that is not over run by 20 year olds on spring break. It's close enough to the night life that if you decide to go out for a drink or a little dancing you can walk, but far enough away that you can still be secluded from all the "partiers". The beach is amazing, never overcrowded. The only downfall is there is only 1 restaurant on premises, although a very good restaurant I would have preferred a little more choice. Overall a really nice hotel.

Nothing really starts happening until midnight and always negotiate the price for the club entry fees, you will be quoted a very high price at first, never accept that price..

Nice Hotel - Reserve Your BED early
This was my 30th wedding anniversary present to my wife. I upgraded my room to a more expensive room, which stated 1 king or 2 full beds. When we arrived there were no King size beds available. The next King size bed would be ready 3 days later. Disappointed, is putting it mildly. We were able to move after the 3rd day to that room. We were compensated with free WiFi for the duration of our stay.

Book your transportation to and from hotel, before you arrive. Taxi's will attempt to charge you $50-60 a couple. Should be about 400 pesos ($35-40)When you arrive you may be asked to tour a local hotel. This is a sales pitch for timeshares.

Make sure your wallet is full of money
The hotel was nice. But $2 for a can of beer, or soda out of a cooler, at a deli that was basically a shopette? Everything at the hotel was outragous!! Four drinks at the pool bar, with tip, tax, etc, was $50 dollars US. The cafe was over priced for the value of the meal. You'd be best served to cross the street to the supermarket, about the size of a 7-Eleven.

fantastic amenities and decoration
sorry to say we had some problems with the sink in the lavatory which was stuck and although we asked someone at the front desk about it, it was never taken care of. The tv control wasn?t in the room when we checked in and when they brought us one, it didn?t work.The bed and decoration, wonderfully clean and proper, but we didn?t get the key to our fridge at the moment of checking in, that was in the front desk, what I?ve seen is that the room wasn?t , it seems ready for newcomers. The staff seemed quite willing, but things didn?t happen after requests. We also had a problem with the toilet?s cover, it was stuck too front wards and the tap kept falling on my back as soon as you got up. Very uncomfortable I assure you. Unluckily these things were?nt taken care of, after our claims. FOR THE REST WE WERE VERY COMFORTABLE,WITH ALL THE AMENITIES AND THOUGHT THEY WERE UP TO A HYATTS STANDARD.

Lots of problems
The staff is not very helpful. There was a flood in one of the floors of the hotel one night. The hotel has an excellent location although there is no direct access to the beach. In general it was a dissapointing experience.

DISAPPOINTING VISIT-NON HYATT LIKE
COULD NOT BE ON REGENCY LEVEL-UNDERSTAND SITLL UNDER RENOVATION-WAS TOLD IT WAS TOTALLY DONE. PAID REGENCY FEE WHICH ALLOWED BAR 5PM TO 7PM. DID NOT RETURN FROM TOURS UNTIL 7PM. BREAKFAST WAS THE HIGHLITE OF THE VISIT. ROOM WAS DIRTY WHEN ARRIVED AND NEVER CLEANED PROPERLY. COFFEE POT WAS NEVER CLEANED. CUPS NEVER REPLACED OR CLEANED. SINK WOULD NOT DRAIN WHEN ARRIVED. WATER NEVER GOT HOT. CHOSE HYATT OVER MARRIOTT BECAUSE OF PAST EXPERIENCE. HOTEL DID NOT LIVE UP TO HYATT STANDARDS.
