Hyatt Regency Cancun

The staff at the Hyatt Regency Cancun are amazing. The room was always clean and comfortable. The view was breathe taking and the food was remarkable. They serve u hand and foot from beginning to end. This was my first trip to cancun and they made it just right. The hotel has prime location and is steps away from many restaurants and night life. The beach is relaxing and the ambiance is sincere an just what I needed. Invest in the club view room, is a little more but u wot regret it. You get an assume view, percentage off the brunch offered on the fort floor, free continental breakfast, and a two hour complimentary cocktail hour.

I was on vacation with my friend for 5 days. We stayed at the Hyatt and it was a resort where you got what you paid for. The food was expensive but the credit helped somewhat but I was happy to almost be forced to explore and venture out to find food at other places (experiencing the "culture"). PLEASE PUT A "DO NOT DISTURB" door hanging thing on your door if you want to sleep in because they come and knock on your door for room cleaning at 9am (who does that? seriously) My gf and I were woken up multiple times (at 9am , then at 11am) so I would HIGHLY advise that you do so!

In the heart of the hotel zone, yet the beach and hotel is very quiet. This is not the typical big resports with loud music by the pool and lots of kids/youth running around, food is excellent at the bar, I thought the Buffet breakfast is a bit over priced. but dinner and lunch are reasonably priced. You can also pre-purchase credit 100 USD will get you 200 USD worth of food at the hotel. The inside of the hotel is built like a perfect cicrcle, very modern lobby, with a glass dome.

The food was great in each of the restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The view was a 5 star view. Last but not least, the staff were friendly and ready to satisfy the guests. The front desk staff, especially Eduardo, were wonderful to deal with, answered all questions and were overall very helpful.

Just came back from 5 days in Cancun and couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Considering the time of year, the trip was great. The hotel was amazing, especially for the price. It was clean, staff was friendly and located in close proximity to everything. The only thing I would have liked would have been music at the pool. Most hotels on the strip had a DJ at there pool area or had a beach party. The Hyatt Regency is more of a quiet hotel and does not accommate that. You can not go wrong with booking his hotel for your vacation stay.

First, the walls are too thin. We heard everything the people next door were saying and were irritated to hear their wake up calls every morning. Our room could not get cooler than 23 degrees Celsius. The room was designed and the amenities were great, except the shower head, which was archaic and not adjustable. The staff was hit or miss. Some were exceptionally kind and helpful. Others were dismissive. We took advantage of the double credit offer and they were not charging for internet during our stay. Also, they were doing renovations in some of the rooms, so we were waking up to sawing, hammering, and other construction noises throughout our stay.

A small very clean and excellent located hotel in Playa del Carmen, staff is helpful. Although not on the beach you are granted access to the Mosquito Beach beach club just two blocks away.

The most pleasant surprise was that the Hyatt Regency Cancun now offers FREE wifi throughout the hotel. This is a huge plus point for me. I've backpacked all over the world, and had free wifi in hostels that cost a few dollars a night, so it really irritates me when luxury hotels attempt to drain further cash from you by charging for wifi. So huge well done to the Hyatt Regency for changing this policy and now providing the wifi free. Other than that, the hotel is of a high quality, the beach is gorgeous, the pools are nice, everything is clean and comfortable, and the staff were more than helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the rest of the dining options were more than adequate, and the 24hr gym got plenty of use from me! The location is perfect too. Great beach, and walking distance from the main "nightlife" area, like the CocoBongo club, etc. All in all a great stay in a great hotel. It has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Would certainly recommend it.

The Hyatt has everything that one would expect at a resort hotel -- great food, amenities, and service.

The double money credit off season was fantastic the rooms were fine
