great honeymoon
it was a great honeymoon did not stay that much in hotel was out and about experiencing Cancun only thing we did not like is when you would go down to exchange money and you gave them 100 dollar bill and let say you only wanted 60 or 40 dollars exchanged they could not do it as they don't give dollars back the would just exchange the hole thing

DO NOT GO TO COCO BONGOS IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY HAD 7 DRINKS AT OPEN BAR NO BUZZ AT ALL THEY ALL TASTED LIKE INSTEAD OF ALCOHOL THEY WERE PUTTING SYRUP

Great vacatiion
Hotel was in a great location if you like to go out at night. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were here for anniversary and the girl at the front desk sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne. The room was noisy in the morning. Their was workers pounding above us at 9 in the morning. Bathtub looked like it had been painted. We paid extra for the breakfast which we thought was not that good.Better to eat somewhere else.

Nice and relaxing
The hotel grounds was absolutely beautiful and the staff were friendly. Food at the hotel restaurants was delicious! The only thing was that the walls in the room were pretty thin.

A well needed trip that was overdue!
Swim up bar was great. Great for taking it easy in the afternoon. However they could make their kiddy pool a hot-tub since its mostly an adult hotel. The staff was great, Even served us at the swim up bar during their shutdown time in the evening. If I were to go again I , I would go all inclusive, however by not having an all inclusive you can bring people back you meet for cocktails hanging out. All inclusive its only people with arm band. Depends on what your objective is on trip!

Girls Getaway
The pool and beach were great. The ocean/street view was great. The lifeguard and other staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom tub needs bleach to clean really good. The location was great.

Great restaurants and clubs. Try the food at El Shrimp Bucket (ask for aquaworld stop on the bus).

A very enjoyable stay in Cancun at the Hyatt. The pool was very nice with waterfalls and plenty of seats both around the pool and built into the pool. Some of the young people at the pool were smoking in the water while also drinking. But that's not the hotels doing. Typical of some college kids. Everyone must sign a paper on check in stating no food or water allowed to be brought in but simply use a backpack and be discreet. A/C worked great. Check out was fast and easy. The bus to downtown was 7.5 pesos, but everything needed is within walking distance. Other hotels are more isolated.

Sightseeing tip:

Would recommend the cruise to Isla Mujeres including snorkeling, food, music and relaxation. Nearby parasailing for $50 was nice. Would avoid the trip to Chicken Itza. It was extremely crowded and overrated with hundreds of vendors inside the facilities.

The only downfall of this hotel was that ice machine was out of ice on four different floors(I guess it was too many people staying in the hotel at that time, it was memorial weekend). We had to go up to the 14th floor on our own, where the suites are located just to get ice. I guess you get better services if you pay more money for certain room types. Other than the ice machine situation, this hotel is beautiful and great. The food from the restaurant was great. Me and my friends enjoyed the built in tanning chairs in the pool. Every room had a balcony with great view.

All of the night clubs, restaurant, and local mall are located within walking distance from the hotel. Approximately 2 minutes in walking distance!

Great hotel..decor and staff were amazin
Hotel service was great and the rooms are very nice..It was my 3rd time there and as long Im in Cancun you will find me at the Hyatt Regency.
