This was so last min. I was typed stressed out and frustrated because everything was sold out. I booked this with no expectations. I was in a rush and this was honestly the only hotel that seemed dope. I booked for my partner and I. It was a
surprised! Perfect for what it was worth. We got to go swimming with the Dolphins and got to stay away from the crazy night life on the strip.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Inquire about the bus schedules. Not too many local's speak English.
it looked like a cave. the lights were dimmed as if they were trying to save electricity. no towel in the room when we arrived, had to asked 3x. the breakfast was blah just plain pancakes and cereal everyday, no bread and butter.
Hotel is right next to Parque de Las Palapas - which is local center of "action". Most of town restaurants are nearby, bus connection to main port and hotel zone great as well.
The hotel has great exterior and decor, however that builds 4-5* (by
european standard) hotel expectation. Its great hotel if you think of it as 2-3* place. Rooms big, beds comfortable, decor is ok. AC was working, but very loud - could not sleep at night . Breakfast - good quality food, however on 3rd morning the fruit and pancakes only buffet was not exciting anymore. Swimming pool constantly occupied by kids/teenagers.
Jose hotels travel agent - was a great help, and we managed to bargain a great deal from some trips.
However thats the best place we stayed for $36 a night. So don't hesitate if you find a deal.

Travel agency within hotel will offer same prices as everywhere else, however we found if you shop for prices beforehand - you could bargain great deal for the tours. Tell them you found somewhere else cheaper and if in 10-15min they won't reduce it , pretend you are going to leave. Worked for us.
This is a great hotel for its value. I only have two complaints about it: One is that the last floor is still in construction and there is no signs about it. It could be dangerous specially for people traveling with kids. I was taking photos of
the hotel (because it is really nice!) and I almost fall through the stairs of the last floor because there is no railing!. And the last complain is that there was this anoying lady every morning knocking at the door asking if everything is ok with the room...we were sleeping and this lady was waking us up every time.
