La Concha overlooks the main swimming pool as well as the ocean and specializes in seafood but offers everything from pizzas to salads. Those feeling exotic can dine at El Oriental with warm lighting surrounded by bamboo and live music. Look out onto the Nichupte Lagoon when enjoying a-la-carte Italian specialties in El Mirador. Cafe Sole offers quick snacks from morning to night, and the Fresco, Premier and Lobby Bar offer drinks all day. Perhaps the best experience at the Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe is watching the sunset from the rooftop Ekinox Lounge where the party picks up when the sun goes down. Dining

Cafe Sole
Open from 7 am to 11 pm for salads, sandwiches, desserts, pastries, gelato, and espresso drinks.
Fresco Bar
Located beside the main swimming pool, to one side of La Concha Restaurant and offering a great sea view. With a very Caribbean design, it has a large circular bar covered by an attractive palapa, simultaneously offering service to guests, La Concha Restaurant and the Pizzeria terrace.
Premier Bar

El Oriental
Located in the Hotel's Central Building, beside the Lobby Bar. Built on three different levels, it has a capacity for 140 diners. Its decoration looks like the interior of a tropical garden, with hanging plants and a central column down which a water curtain falls. Service at the Oriental Restaurant comes from its own kitchen, which acts as a satellite of the main kitchen which it is interconnected. This Restaurant only offers a la carte service with typical oriental cuisine dishes. Service exclusively for guests above 12 years old. Dress code is required.
Pizza Corner
Serving fresh baked pizzas by the sea.
Lobby Bar
This bar has a unique design with furniture and decoration which make it very welcoming, complemented by some graphic and artistic elements linking it with jazz culture. Nice place

Would recommend Wed, Nov 18, 2015
Great beach and location. Pools were nice with great drink service. Italian and oriental restaurants were really nice, the Mexican one was just ok. The buffet would probably be my only complaint, but thats only due to the small selection compared to other resorts. It also had a nice snack bar with burgers and another that served pretty good pizza. It also had a little coffee place that served ice cream and pastries. Overall it was a nice place, not alot to do at night, but that was ok with us.

Would recommend Tue, Nov 10, 2015
I went on vacation for some relaxation and rest and that's exactly what i got! This resort has many options for all sorts to choose from. There is a wonderful pool that is nice and quiet for the days of sun slumber. Just a walk away is the activities pool that is a great spot to par take in the fun of volleyball, water aerobics and people watching! The staff is AMAZING!! Seriously, everyone is nice and accommodating! There is not a bad view from any room and the scenery is breathe taking! This will be a place I will come back to again!!

Overall a great hotel

Would recommend Wed, Nov 4, 2015
What sells this place is the staff. The staff is very friendly and they always seem cheerful. Obviously, one of the benefits of this hotel is the free food and drinks. No matter what time we went, we found the same people working. I wonder if they have days off? The drinks are decent, but low on alcohol, as you can expect at an all-inclusive. The food was okay at best. This location is by the ocean and the seafood was horrible. It all tasted like it had been in the fridge for at least a week. Seafood not being fresh at all really took me by surprise, but the other food is good. We didn't try the Italian nor the Oriental as neither appealed to us. Since we're in Mexico, we wanted to have their food. I was shocked very little of it was spicy, so we had to ask for extra peppers and sauces to gain some spice. There is a nice fitness center. Admittedly, we didn't use it. Two pools and bars at each pool make this a wonderful location to rest during the day. There are nightly shows for entertainment. Of course, one of my favorite features is that it is right off the beach. You can stroll just past the pools to enjoy the ocean. I didn't like some things beyond the seafood. First off, there was constant sales pressure to join their rewards program - akin to a timeshare. We were requested presence at the front desk after missing our welcome package, but it was a sales pitch and they wanted us to sit in a 90-hour presentation. I'm on vacation and a lecture is the last thing I want. It was difficult to walk in the hallways without someone asking us to join their program. Ultimately, this pushed down the overall score. The other feature I disliked was people hogging all the seats by the pool. If you don't have a chair by 9 AM then someone has probably claimed it. Who knows where they go during the day? Maybe a tour or shopping, but you find yourself just giving up. The ticket exchange per towel doesn't help either. I'd rather have staff clean up towels if someone isn't spotted using it after an hour. It was appalling that every chair had a towel claimed on it, but only 5-10 people in the pool at a time. There are at least 50 chairs. Simply ridiculous. Finally, the Wi-Fi has two versions: Free and slow or paid and fast. It's something to keep in mind.

Family trip

Would not recommend Thu, Oct 29, 2015
Overall, staying at the villas area was fine, but the price is not jousting. The view is nice. The food was good, but being with a child , we couldn't go to the all restaurants. The drinks were the worse drinks that I ever drunk. I was very happy with the water that we had in the fridge and with the white wine (the only one). The stuffs... a little lazy (waiters)... and the check-in lady from the main restaurant was a little nasty . Unfortunately, this hotel just missed the opportunity to make us to comeback there. If you have little kids, we highly recommend to go on the beach, at the Kids Club and to AquaWorld.

Wonderful, all-inclusive hotel

Would recommend Tue, Oct 27, 2015
The food was fantastic. The Italian restaurant was wonderful. The staff were more than eager to please, and the maid who cleaned our room was an angel (she also left me little animals made out of face cloths each day). We've just returned from a two-week vacation, and the location was great - not far from night-life, but not on top, either - a choice of two swimming pools, a jacuzzi and the sea. Want to go back, tomorrow!
