Grand Oasis Cancun All Inclusive

The food was great and I would definatelly come back but must stay at the pyramid area all the other sites were too far from the restaurants and the rooms were much better

Went with a group of my friends as a high-school graduation gift. I feel like it was perfect for this occasion, as it felt like a bigger party scene, the whole time my buddies and i were saying "Man, i'm happy i'm not with my family here". Now having said that, you wouldn't want to be with your family if you were doing the things we were doing, but I am sure it could be used for that purpose if you are looking for a get-away. My only real complaint was the food, being all-inclusive that is common though.

Our first time in Cancun, and we will visit again. To be a three star hotel... it was a great. I was actually expecting the room to be broken down- but it was an ordinary room. Food was fine. I actually like the garlic shrimp from the cocoa restaurant. The hotel is on the Cancun strip- and it takes no time to get to other resorts, the party life, or the malls. Its only a bus ride away- I would stay 15 minutes the most. "So no need to take a cab". Bus ride is a $1 in USD. I like that we were also able to visit the oasis resort- next door to us. We went to oasis to check out the coyote loco(bar/club), and on the Gran Oasis side we went to the upside down club. I wouldn't recommend this resort to families- its more for couples and single people. The grounds keeping was kept well, and the staff was awesome. I would definitely come back to this resort. I got what my money was worth!

The whole plan for this vacation was to just relax and the Grand Oasis proved a great place to do so. Everything from the easy early check-in, very clean rooms and extremely polite staff that work very hard in every aspect to the resort. Nice variations in the food for which you desire at any time of the day. Only negative... no chips and salsa anywhere.

My wife and I just returned from a five-day stay at the Grand Oasis Cancun. We felt it was a good value and were very pleased with most aspects of the stay. They have done a good job of separating the Grand Oasis from the Oasis Cancun, which obviously was catering more to the "spring break" crowd. Our part of the resort was mostly quiet, the beach and the pool were very nice. We enjoyed most of the restaurants---probably would not return to the "gourmet Mexican". We will probably return to the Grand Oasis--had a very nice time there.

This was a lovely resort. Plenty of options for food, activities and relaxation. Definitely recommend it for the location, price and service. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Grand Oasis Cancun. What a great hotel!! Staff was friendly, amenities were wonderful and a PERFECT location!!! One of my best vacations ever!

We stayed 4 nights 5 days at Grand Oasis, which wasn't really enough time for us to see the entire place or visit many restaurants. It was a pleasant place to stay and the lobby is beautifully decorated with tropical plants. It was in a good location not far from the malls,shops and party places. I thought it was kept very clean, more so than what you may expect. The staff was friendly and most were accomodating. The only problem we had was servicing our rooms with towels and washcloths. The housekeepers were not replacing them daily as needed. Overall the beds were comfortable and the ocean view was a must. The food was good, we ate at approximately 6 different restaurants. There was some entertainment, and activities on the resort. Most of the city bus rides to town were good, it only costs .65 to ride one way. We took a city bus around 7:00 on Friday night and it was well beyond its capacity. We took plenty of 1's for extra tipping. We took the ATV excursion for a few hours and that was great fun. We would go back to this resort, but next time stay a bit longer.

The Grand Oasis Cancun was so very pretty. When you first walk in you see a beautiful fountain and garden in the center that the rooms are built around. Our room was nice with a comfortable bed. We had an oversized bathtub with lots of hot water. Everything in the room worked well and we had no complaints. We had a gorgeous view of the ocean and the pool from our balcony. All of the restaurants that we ate at were very good. We did make the mistake of not making reservations for the few places that had to have them upon our arrival, Because no one told us to make reservations immediately, so when we went to make reservations the day before we wanted to eat at one place they told us they were already booked. Another steak restaurant didn't show that it needed reservations and when we got all ready to go there and eat, they told us at the door you needed to have reservations. We were pretty ticked about that. The only other thing that was kinda annoying was the fact that the concierge would hit you up in the lobby upon your arrival to try and give you free coupons for exursions if you would make an apppointment to come and hear about their vacation package deal. They were so persistent and when you told them no, they would continue to be even more persistent. We finally just started avoiding all the people in the lobby. The pools and the beach was excellent. We had a wonderful experience at this resort.
