Comfortable and clean
The GR Solaris was very nice. The food at the Marco Polo's was very good. Buffet food is still buffet food; meaning it wasn't great, but it wasn't gag me gross either. The drinks were very good. The best part was the helpful staff, and the view from the rooms. I have stayed all over Mexico, and this has been one of the best experiences to date. You really can't go wrong here. A helpful travelling hint...TAKE THE VAN SHUTTLE SERVICE TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT TO HOTEL. You will save time, money, and the service is better than the taxi's. Taxi's will try to rip you off ALWAYS.

My review of GR Solaris Cancun All Inclusive
the gr solaris was a most enjoyable experience for my wife and myself. The hotel staff was excellent, the food was great, and the room was very nice and comfy. i will most assuredly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Watch out for the sales pitch...
Overall a good family vacation spot but would not recommend for two adults travelling alone. Musica and entertainment themes were geared toward young adults. Also, heavy persuasion to book appointment (90 minutes) to hear time share plans in exchange for upgraded rooom was not appreciated especially after a red eye flight.
