GR Solaris Cancun Resort and Spa- All Inclusive

i have been to multiple all-inclusive resorts in cancun. this resort was by far the cheapest, and i could tell, but the deal we got was great. we definitely got what we paid for. the location, the staff, the pool, the beach, and being all-inclusive was fabulous. the food was really not good at all and needs a lot of improvement. the best meal i had was at the airport on the way home. in addition, all of the restaurants are buffet besides one, and they make it a pain to make reservations there. another negative for this resort was that the beds were very hard. this resort needs to get plush and comfy beds. i would say this place does not deserve 4 stars, definitely 3 star resort. all in all, the vacation was great though, and i paid half of what i usually pay to stay at a 4 star all-inclusive, so there is definitely a reason this place was inexpensive.

We stayed at the GR Solaris , March 2013. Had a great time , food was very good with a large selection and different theme nights. The staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful, special thanks to Armando. Rooms where always clean and the fridge was stocked every day. Beach was perfect , lots of space and life guard on duty. Entertainment staff at night was great, loved the staff show. I would for sure tell my family and friends to stay at the GR Solaris.

I definitely would not rate this a 4 star hotel. The beach is gorgeous but location is quite far from the activities of downtown (shopping, restaurants and clubs). It was hit or miss whether our room was made up each day. Twice it was not made up by 4pm and had to ask for clean towels to shower. Beds are hard as a rock. Food was terrible with the exception of the breakfast buffet and the specialty restaurant, Marco Polo. Nightly entertainment was pretty good and a bonus. Other than the nightly show, there was nothing to do at the resort at night. A good value, but you do get what you pay for.

The GR Solaris was an excellent spring break destination for my friends and I. It is right on the beach, and we even got a free upgrade to an ocean view room upon arrival. There were fun contests and activities in the pool during the day. The staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the resort offered awesome deals for different clubs each night. The drinks were good, but the food was our least favorite part. The snack bar during the day was probably the best, while the buffet style restaurants were not so great. However, for the price we payed, I can't really complain! I would definitely recommend this resort.

Staff was great, everything was well run, very clean. We like the all inclusive and this was done well. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Food was plentiful. All in all good value.

The location was great for what we were looking for. The beach and pool were wonderful. Food needs improvement. The front desk staff were very rude, not helpful, and had bad attitude!!! All the other staff were kind helpful, and fun.

My wife and I haved stayed at many resorts in Cancun and this was another good pick. Room was very nice and everything well taken care of. Food was great, beach and pool area very nice.

Amazing stay, very clean, great staff, nice beach& good food!

Staff is unbelieveable in how helpful they are. Ocean beach was great and is substantial. Lots of pools to use and meals were great as you could always find things you liked in buffet.

great beach, friendly and helpful staff, very good pools, food was good to very good but we do not usually do all inclusive resorts because we eat too much. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
