Better than expected
We did some research about the best rated Cancun hotels but also keeping in mind a set budget we had for our family vacation. The choice was between this hotel and other 3 and we're glad we chose the GR Caribe. The staff is extra friendly, food is very good and the beach and pool are very relaxing. Just one comment, stay away from the staff offering memberships to the Solaris Club; we think it's a waste of time to sit through a 3-hour sales pitch

Short drive from hotel
Be sure to book a tour to the Xcaret park. It is a Mexican theme park with a lot of attractions and shows. It is about 120 USD per person but worth it.

I normally don't do reviews, but this hotel deserve it. My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time. The food is great, the staff is the best, the place is beautiful. Room service 24/7. Breakfast amazing with many different options. Awesome restaurants. Drinks are served everywhere in the facility. The staff are eager to make your stay pleasant. I cannot stress how great the staffs are. MUST BOOK!!!!

In Hotel
Must go eat in all the restaurant in the hotel. It's all free in the inclusive. Especially the Italian restaurant next to the bar. Take the bus to strip mall or downtown only 10 minutes and only 8 pasos which is like 80cents.

wonderful Hotel
I stayed here. This Hotel is great. Foods and service are very nice. In addtion to that my room is very close to the beach. However, two days are rainy days during staying here. Anyway, I enjoy all services at this hotel. Wonderful Hotel!!!

Sure beats the snow
Anniversary Trip
The GR Caribe by Solaris provided a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the very personalized service and the wonderful ocean views from our room. Everything was very clean and looked to be well maintained. Our favorite activity was to lounge out at the ocean and enjoy the sun and listen to the waves. We also enjoyed splashing in the ocean waves and using a boogie board to rides some of the waves. The clarity and color of the water is amazing and so is the white soft sand! The nightly entertainment was OK but not exceptional. The food was average at best and was the biggest disappointment of our trip. The beds are rather firm and not very comfortable. Those would be the main complaints that I would mention. Overall, we had a great anniversary and would recommend and return to the GR Caribe by Solaris again!

Great hotel
This was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. The hotel was excellent with great food and really good service. The staff were very helpful and pleasant with both my husband and I and our daughter. The only downside was that there was very little entertainment at the hotel during the evening, so if we didn't want to go next door it was very quiet. Adults will love this hotel but I would not recommend if you have teenage kids that are looking for activities.

Could not have been better
I really enjoyed my stay the staff was excellent. Big shout out to Tabata the entertainment director for keeping the pool fun and alive with all the fun games. Luis and Angel the beach restaurant service was amazing. Abigail's service at the pool was very excellent. Overall the staff and hotel was more than I could have imagined. I am already planning my next stay there in the spring.

Mother/Daughter get away
It was my 7th time to MX. I would say this was average- food, accommodations, but the service was wonderful! I would not stay there again. Outside snack bar needs more choices of food.
