Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach Cancun Resort and Spa

The Hotel is very clean and upscale and the staff are very accomodating. We went there because we thought the beach was going to be like the brochures we received, that was not the case. The beach and surrounding waters are not the best of cancuns beaches, frankly i do not know why they even call the hotel grand coral reef as there is no reef by the hotel. I recommend taking the ferry to isla mujeres and walking the island there you will find the best beach in all of cancun. Also, use the public transportation at kukulkan - 1 dollar per trip cannot beat it- you will be pleasantly surprised.

great staff, friendly, clean, spacious, modern. the beds were great and comfortable. the rooms were spacious and adequate. i like all of the modern touches to the room.

I will not visit again never never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very rude and insolent hotel. I had ruined my beautiful holiday. I want to turn time.

Wonderful water,sand and first class pools gave us the perfect opportunity for some well deserved R&R. Food is quite good in the hotel but,on the pricey side for Mexico. Lots of good eats near the hotel. We rented a car for 24 hours and drove to Playa del Carmen for shopping and lunch at the Blue Lobster and then the ruins of Tulum. The Spa in the hotel is one of the finest. You will be very pleased with this choice.

The resort is clean and beautiful! Balcony rooms have breathtaking scenery (all of the rooms may be balcony). The food was delicious, but rather pricey. They should have more reasonably priced food choices right in the resort. Loved the pools with the swim up bars. The beach is also fantastic with very fine sand. We took a speed boat/snorkeling tour that was really fun and we saw so many fish, including a swordfish and also a sea turtle.

The hotel is good and clean, the staff are very nice. Although the hotel looks a little bit old outside, it has the good location! Food is kind of expensive in the hotel, but you can walk to the bar street, there are so many different kinds of foods, all very delicious, especially the taco. Beach and swimming pool are awasome!!! Every room is ocean view with a balcony, that is great!!!

The front desk was a disaster here. The hotel is exceptional in many ways, but the front desk was not only unfriendly, but made a lot of errors. They overbilled, failed to correct errors, and worst of all were not staffed with supervisors at times who had authority to make changes to billing. At 8 am, on the day of our departure, we were actually told that a supervisor would not be in for another 20 minutes. When we asked for copies of our documents to provide as proof of the errors they had made, they actually refused it outright. I hate to completely bash the hotel because everything else was outstanding. But, the front desk and the several people there that I worked with were all nothing short of a disaster. It may seem like a small issue, but this was something which overhung our trip the entire time.

This hotel is beautiful, right by the beach, walking distance to restaurants and main street with attractions and entertainment. Staff is very attentive and extremely polite. Great place for kids, great swimming pools, only wish they were heated, for when the weather's on the cooler side. My only pet peeve is the sales people in the lobby across front desk, they will hound you to attend sales presentations, similar to time sharing. They come across like they're there to help you, but stay away. You will be directed by the front desk to see them, as if it's part of the check in but watch out!

The Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach was the perfect hotel. The location, the beach, the service was exceptional! Plenty of activities and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. We came back to see how the area developed after hurricane Wilma, which was the last time we visited. Everything seems newer and fresher, especially the shopping. The La Isla mall is amazing. This was a great vacation and always felt safe no matter the time of place.

Great State of the Art spa. Not much sun by the pools because the hotel blocks it after the 1st 3 hours of the day. Rooms are wonderful. Service is great.
