We had an amazing time. Food was great. Staff is great. Weather was perfect. We visited Isla Mujeres and went snorkling. Island was crazy with people trying to get you to buy stuff. The resort itself was free from loitering and was so relaxing. Best vacation ever :)

Incredible resort but falls short for singles
Check in went very smooth. The room was even better than the photos, The property and facilities are breathtaking. However, This is the perfect place for couples.. We were the only 2 single people that I saw. I had asked about that and the resort said that they get alot of singles. The bathroom is designed for absolutley no privacy. Toilets are in a closet, if you want to call it that. It has a glass door without a tight seal and you can hear everything..There are just somethings I don't want to hear when I'm eating my breakfast. Shower also very open that was fine. The food was hit and miss. Have had better food on a cruise ship.. It was just OK. Some communication problems with room service, but staff was very quick to fix any problem. The front desk does not have US $ to give you change for tipping..Only have pesos. All in all it is a great place, but I wouldn't recommend it to singles..Honeymooners and couples is what it is designed for. You will not find a more beautiful resort.

Honeymoon In Mexico
My wife and i just stayed here on our honeymoon and we loved it. We stayed in the Excellence club which was awesome. There was always someone to help us out with anything we needed and the place was very clean and friendly. The bars were fantastic and there were many of them, the Food was great and there were i think 10+ different places to eat along with room service and other stuff. Every Night there was an event or a band or show. Overall the feel of the place was great it was like you never had to leave, which we didnt want to. i would highly recommend this to anyone going on a special vacation(honeymoon anniversary etc) or just someone looking to go have fun.

"Excellence" is right!
This is the perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary or just a pampered getaway with your sweetheart. The food was amazing, service is impeccable and the resort facilities were top notch and up to date. We will certainly return to Excellence Playa Mujeres someday and highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys being spoiled and catered to. It doesn't get any better!!

Chez Isabelle, their french restaurant was amazing. I recommend trying it early in your stay. We never made it to all of the restaurants and we stayed for 8 nights so make sure to try this one!

Look No Further....Seriously!!
Honestly, I am pretty picky and don't leave reviews. This place just deserves one, and for those of you that are also picky...STOP thinking about it and just go to Excellence Playa Mujeres. The food, staff, beaches, spa, romance level, basically everything is all you need. Drinks aren't watered down, resort is CLEAN, and the entertainment is non-stop. I also love the all inclusive, all adults thing. A true getaway indeed!!
