Awesome Honeymoon experience
We were extremely happy with our experience. This place and the staff were amazing. The only little thing I would say was a negative was the water here is not the crystal blue water you expect in Cancun. The water was nice don't get me wrong, but as you are driving to this location you pass beaches with water you've seen in pictures. The staff, the resort and the overall experience were amazing. We got off the plane and everything was taken care of as I expected. I can't stress how awesome the staff was and how amazing the resort is. Thanks for the great experience.

As far as the food in the hotel, I'd say to stick with the standard stuff, steaks, wraps, fish tacos, etc. When I tried to sway from this I was always a little disappointed with the food.

Everything about the 5-day vacs was perfect! Good place to relax, feel luxuries, socialize and get quiet relaxation if you choose to! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely come back! NO kids around make a huge difference too!!!!

Excellence is Excellent!
Truly a luxurious resort. First class all the way. Views are incredible, food is tasty and diverse, staff is friendly and attentive, location is a manageable distance from the Cancun airport and in a well guarded, private compound. Very safe, clean and peaceful! Loved everything about this place!

Fantastic!
Loved this resort! After 18 years of traveling to Mexico, this was my first adults only resort and it was great. I loved not having to make reservations, no towel cards, and having entertainment geared to adults. Food was good. Top shelf drinks. Rooms spectacular...although I would like a more private bathroom. The spa and marine circuit was out of this world excellent!!

GOOD HOTEL - BAD EXCURSION
1 - BEING AN EXCELLANCE PAST GUEST AND GETTING UPGRADED TO THE EXCELLANCE CLUB TWO YEARS AGO WHEN I BOOKED WITH AAA, I GOT TO THE HOTEL AND NO UPGRADE WITH YOUR COMPANY.. 2 - GOT AN EXCUSION FOR A SUNSET CRUISE INCLUDED EITHER WITH YOUR COMPANY OR THE HOTEL, DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE.. GOT TO THE DOUBLE DECKER BOAT AS THE SUN WAS GOING DOWN AND NO ONE KNEW WHERE I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE AT THE DOCK.. THE BOAT WAS JUST READY TO PULL OUT AND THE TOUR GUIDE FROM THE HOTEL SHOWED UP AND HURRIED US AND A HONEYMOON COUPLE TO THE LOWER DECK OF THE BOAT SINCE THE UPPER WAS FULL.. RUM DRINKS SOMETIMES TIMES WENT AROUND AS WE LISTENED TO AN AWFULL D.J. UPSTAIRS AFTER THE SUN WENT DOWN AND DARK NOW.. WENT WE GOT TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BAY THEY LET ALL TOP OF THE BOAT PEOPLE OFF AND WE WERE ALLOWED TO GO UP TOP.. MORE RUM DRINKS AT TIMES.. WHEN WE REACHED THE ORIGINAL DOCK WE WERE TOLD THAT EVERYONE WANTED TO GO TO A CLUB AND IT WOULD COST 45 DOLLARS EACH TO GO TO THE CLUB WHICH WAS ONLY A MILE AWAY.. BOTH COUPLE OPTED NOT TO GO.. THE TOUR GUIDE TOLD US THE BUSES WERE FULL GOING TO THE CLUB AND THE RETURN TRIP COST WAS NOT INCLUDED ( HE MUST HAVE THOUGHT WE JUST FELL OFF THE TURNIP TRUCK ) WHICH BOTH WIVES POINTED OUT TO HIM THAT THE RETURN TRIP WAS INCLUDED.. AFTER WAITING AN HOUR IN THE PARKING LOT AT 10 O'CLOCK HE TOLD US THE ONLY BUS WAS ON IT'S WAY BUT WE HAD TO PAY THE DRIVER.. WE AGREED AND GOT BACK TO THE HOTEL AROUND 11 O'CLOCK WITH NO FOOD BEING OFFERED ON THE BOAT AND TOLD THE DRIVER TO GET THE PAYMENT FROM THE HOTEL TOUR GUIDE , LUCKILY ONE RESTAURANT WAS JUST CLOSING AND AGREED TO GET THE FOUR OF US SOME FOOD..

WHEN WE GOT TO THE HOTEL THE BAGGAGE GUY TOLD US ABOUT THE HIBACHI, WE CHECKED IN ALL PAPERWORK INTHE ROOM AND FOUND NOTHING ABOUT THE HIBACHI.. EVEN AT THE RESTAURANT MENU SAID NOTHING ABOUT HIBACHI.. WE ASKED THE PERSON ABOUT THE HIBACHI AND THE TOOK OUR RESERVATION.. IT WAS THE BEST MEAL THAT WE HAD AT THE HOTEL.. WE WENT BACK TWICE AFTER WITH PEOPLE WE MET AT THE HOTEL AND THEY DID NOT HEAR ABOUT THE HIBACHI.. IF YOU GO THO THIS HOTEL, DEFINATLY CHECK OUT THE HIBACHI, GOOD SHOW AND GREAT FOOD..

Great adult getaway.
This is a first class hotel with a first class staff trained to exceed expectations. They are serious about your comfort and do what is necessary to accommodate any requests you have. We were skeptical about the "all inclusive" aspect relative to the quality of food. This fear was unwarranted. They have 9 different restaurants which offer high quality food prepared consistent with their five star rating.

Wonderful Honeymoom
This place has a great selection of beers and drinks. The rooms are great and the staff was excellent. The only downside was that the bathroom door was just a glass swinging down that didn't mask anything done in there :)
