Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa All Inclusive

The first night i paid for an upgrade to a suite.Bad choice the air con was not working informed front desk but no solution. moved to a regular room the next day and had to argue and get a mgr invovled to get my refund.The air con was leeking from the ceiling and a pool of water was on the tile floor, well guess what happened ,I slipped and fell banging my knee which is still swollen and I hurt my back. AN Employee was walking by and seen me on the floor and the people in the next room helped me to my feet. The House Doctor came and wrapped my knee and they escorted me back into the room were they had me sit on a chair with my leg up waiting for someone to bring ice for my knee. My daughter had her wedding there on the beach and I had 38 people there YES 38 People. So do you think I spent alot of money there YA Thousands and to be treated like this was not right. When we were checking out no mention of how I feel no compensation and to make matters worse they tried to billed me for 2 spa treatments. They had the original bill with my signature and I gave gave the girl a $20.00 tip in American money. They brought over another bill not signed by me and they added a $19.99 tip for the girl.Do you really want to to tell you wrer this is going. How many other people do they do this to, people that do not check there bill when they check out. On the bright side My Daughters Wedding was beautiful. I hope I get a response from this . I travel every week and I use your services often. Lets see were this goes.

The best think about Dreams is the nautral beuaty of its location. The beaches were beuatiful and the views breathtaking. The staff was pleasant and accomadating. That is about all the good there is to say about the resort. The food is average. The mixed drinks are watered down. You have one slection of beer. They did not even carry Modelo-which is a Mexican beer. Likewise, the "brand" liqour was not brand, but call brands. One type of vodka, one type of tequila. The seafood selection was extremely poor for a seaside hotel. Not one restuarant carried lobster. We did have a fabalous romantice anniversary dinner _-which we paid 270 dollars extra for---which was delicious. The old adage, "you get what you pay for", does not apply to this hotel. This is touted as a premium all inclusive---it is not. During our stay there was a gathering of very rowdy. loud and drunk, garish, rude young women and men. They made it very difficult to appreciate the calm and relaxing views of the beach or main resort pool. This is not a romantic or family resort. It was more of a spring breaker type crowd. Will not go back again.

We had a large group of 19, with 8 being recent high school graduates. I would not recommend this hotel at all for teenagers, as the staff was very unfriendly to them when they were by themselves. This hotel seems to attract a lot of couples. The hotel is in a great location . . . on the lagoon side and wave side, as well as near the clubs. We found the food and service to be very good. The hotel staff even waited on you when you were on the beach, and around the pool area. The problem with this hotel is that the rooms are very outdated and the main pool was very small. Additionally, the kiddie pool is attached to the main pool, which is leads me to believe the water was not clean. Our shower wall was full of mold, and the furniture and decor was old. Also, there were very few activities for children and teenagers. The water trampoline was broken, and the only non motorized equipment available was kayaks. No arcade room, ping pong tables, or any outdoor games. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel, and we have stayed in many of them in the Riviera Maya area, as well as Puerto Vallarta.

Not Great!

We were definitely not impressed with this hotel after how much money we paid to be there. Upon checkin in, the staff was rude and it took an hour for our room to be ready, even though we arrived an hour past check in time. The room was okay, but definitley nothing special. The bathroom smelled of mildew and did not seem very clean to us at all. The food was decent, but I'm pretty sure most of our party got sick from the room service that we ordered. The waitstaff and the restaurants were the friendliest employees, but the wait for our food took at least an hour an every restaurant (except the buffet).

That hotel is supposed to be one of the bert hotels in Cancun, what a disapointment, the pools water looks so dirty that you dont feel like going in, the rooms look old, the tv did not work our whole stay we hay to change them 4 times.I am disapointed with the hotel, the service was good.

The hotel staff were great. I was disappointed with the quality of food and the pool. If you want to stay in an all inclusive resort within minutes of all the night life in Cancun, this is the place to stay. It was not up to par with the other resorts in Cancun that I have stayed and will probably not stay here again. The entertainment staff was friendly but they had to compete nightly with Cancun's nightlife and of course they lose everytime.

enjoyed the delphinus, but not the property. Poor food, room was freezing and damp, nasty beach area, one small, poorly maintained pool, staff inattentive, only bright spot for me was in the spa very nice professional staff, good products and service.

The front desk lies to you. The Hotel credit is a joke. Pool has 18 lounge charis. Better get up early to get one. The guy who is supposed to help you get your return shuttle to the airport never showed up. I have been to cancun and playacar 12 other times and this was the worst service yet. The pool is way too small for the size of the hotel.

everythingh was incluided but the schedule of the other restaurants its very limited 12 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 11:00 ,the kind of tekila that they use for coktails they call it el de batalla its not tekila its kind of mescal made it of alcohol (fire),ad the price for night its tgoo high for the kind of room no bath tube and the people on the front desk are not help full i try to stay more days but they did not help me , other detail thry dont have wi fi free just they give you a 15 mins sesion every day however the rest of people are very polite and nice
