Crown club rooms also have double Jacuzzis, mini bars, bathrobes and slippers.

Unbeatable location for the price!

We enjoyed golfing three days out of the week! We went shopping down town. Most of all we just enjoyed resting and eating at four of their dining locations.

Excellent Family getaway

Our stay was wonderful, the only negative was the food in the buffet. However there are many other choices so you will never go hungry and the restaurants were great in the evening. We can't say enough good about or stay and the Crown Paradise, and the staff was amazing. You will not be disappointed.

Great Hotel[...]

Great hotel, excellent staff, beautiful location, great day and evening entertainment. Unfortunately, when we arrived they told us the Kids Paradise, which is the kids water park with the pirate ship, etc was closed for renovation until two days after we were scheduled to leave. This was awful news as our child was looking forward to this and it's the main reason we chose this hotel. [...] We were not notified of the renovation prior to arrival. I'm glad they are renovating it so others can enjoy it, but unfortunately for us, [...] our stay was not as good as it should have been. So, the lesson of the day is to CALL AHEAD to verify that everything is going to be open. Also, they only had 2 restaurants open on each day, so don't be fooled by the 5 or 6 restaurant list; as only two are open per day. The staff is awesome and tries very hard to make you happy. The beach and location are awesome!

Don't even think about it!!

My sister and I were so excited about our first trip to Cancun, but when we got there, everything changed. this hotel seemed ok but it wasnt as close to all the attractions we wanted to see. The staff was very nice, and no one trying to sell us time share HOWEVER, the rooms were small, the sheets did not smell clean, even after we asked them to change them. The buffet food was bland and you had to make reservations for resturaunts. The activities at the hotel were minimum, overall my trip was awful, I wouldn't think about going back!

Great for families with kids!

The buffet was pretty good, variety was present, the rooms need to be remodelled; the door knobs seemed to be at least 20 years old, all rusty and scratched very old looking, there was a suspicious smell, urine-like in the room... the AC was pretty good, it cooled down the room in no time. The tub was also ancient and filthy looking, as well as the sink knobs... The maid service was very good, every day the room was put in order while we were having breakfast, that was impressive. The hotel has a lot of staff, and all of them very friendly, they were working around the clock. The view to the beach was very nice, all of the rooms have balconies,so that is a plus, there is a baby center and kids club- kids activities are great, they had a different program every day and the kids loved it. The kids club is always the perfect place to drop off your kids while you go out for a swim or dinner. We will definitely recommend to family friends, if traveling with their children. Great overall value for the price. One thing that we would make a remark on is the lack of air freshener in the room;if that was present my review would have been even better.

Low on Maintenace

The air conditioning did not work at all.I complained to management a few times only to learn that the air conditioning in the entire hotel wing did not work. They knew this before I checked in.Guess the thought was I would spend my time at the pool or that the discomfort would make me take a tour! The cold water spout did not work in the Jacuzzi so I had to fill with Hot water and wait about an hour and a half to not scald myself.

Not so hot!

[...] The rooms were musty due to the items in the room (blanket on bed, decorative pillows, and bed pillows) and a lot of other guests were complaining. The mattresses are old and hard, no sign of luxury or comfort there. I asked the housekeeper not to put the pillows and blanket on the bed and she did anyway. I had the privacy tag on my door and they still entered my room. Some of the staff, namely the concierge, was rude and not helpful, not at all what I expected from my past experiences in Cancun. I couldn't use the "global" calling card/voucher [...] at the hotel. None of the payphones took that "global" card, I had to walk to the street to use a payphone there to call back home. I cut my toe at the pool and asked the medical doctor's assistant if I could have some band aids. She gave me two; I asked for more and she shook her head no and said "only two". I was not impressed with the food at all. I ordered a steak sandwich and the meat was so tough I ate the bread instead. I did enjoy the adult pool and the staff at the pool. Sad to say I couldn't wait to leave. The only positive I found was the view of the Caribbean from my room.
