40 Mins to check-in...really??

I booked this hotel here 2 hrs before I arrived. After spending 10 mins to find reception next door at dos playas, the receptionist said that there were no rooms available, but I already prepaid. He then asked me to send him the reservation via e-mail. I requested wi-fi access and he balked at me. He then stared at my confirmation e-mail for 15 mins with no information. Finally, he said that he could give us a room, but I would have to provide my credit card guarantee until he can confirm it the next day. Not a big deal, but why could he not explain that to me 30 mins ago. He gave us 1 key card, and I asked for 2 more, he refused... seriously? 1 hr after arriving at the location, we finally saw our tiny room. The room was kind of clean but the beds were poor and the AC made a bang every time the compressor came on. I would not recommend staying here unless your budget is very tight.

Never stay here

This place is terrible, the room is not even close to clean and there are no amenities. The room had an old ceiling fan and a very old AC which was barely able to fill the very small room we had been put. For the 100 USD per day it is not worth it. Add another 50 USD and you can get a very comfortable room at Presidente Intercontinental.
