Cancun Clipper Club is great!
Excellent hotel! The swimming pool is large and the grounds are lovely. Our suite was spacious and clean. We ate some meals in our room which included a microwave, large refrigerator, gas burners, coffee maker, toaster, and blender plus sufficient dishes, silverware, and fry pans. Water pressure was excellent with ample hot water. Air conditioners worked very well. I would recommend the Clipper Club to value conscious travelers. The chicken enchiladas at Rays (onsite) Restaurant are the best! We are looking forward to going back.

Excellent Location & Quiet Family Setting
The Cancun Clipper Club has a great location. Many attractions are within easy walking distance. This includes restaurants, night life, shopping malls, and local stores. The hotel is in an enclosed area that is quiet and peaceful. There is a small restaurant, Ray's, on the property along with a swimming pool. There is a small room with washers and dryers for thos who want to stay longer than a suite case full of cloths. Prices are not too outragious considering it is located in the heart of a tourist center second only to Orlando.

Stay Number 2 in 2011
The Cancun Clipper Club is located within a short walk to several restaurants, shops, night clubs and a two story shopping mall. It has a small restaurant called Rays that is poolside that has reasonably priced food and beverages. You cannot drink the water, of course, but there is bottled water within a block. I have been going there for several years now and plan to go back next year. A better deal than the chain hotels.

The Fiesta Market is only one block away (also known as the Mexican Market). It has a lot of clothing, souvenirs, and beverages available and a fairly good currency exchange rate. It is only a short block away.

Clipper Club 2011-08-12
The Cancun Clipper Club has a better price than most of the chain hotels and it is located within walking distance of many shops and places to eat. We are planning on staying there again soon. The only thing to be careful about is the water which is not safe to drink but that is common place in Mexico.

first what I didn't like; the second shift concierge was not a friendly person. then there was that sewer smell in the bathroom and the tv didn't come in clearly. (But I did like movie channels and cnn.) Other than that I loved the room, everybody was friendly even the guests. the upkeep was kept up. And I loved the grounds,it was like paradise. i would stay there again. I loved the location; peaceful and at the same time action was only a block or bus away.

Spring break: Good choice
The location is definitely good if you wanna party... you have all discos next to the hotel, 5minutes walking to the beach and lots of places to eat. I would say is a good place to go with your friends but not with your family (there isn't anyithing to do around, playa del carmen is much better in that case). The service is quite good, we didn't have any problem at all.
