Bel Air Collection Resort and Spa - Adults Oriented

we had an amazing time in this sexy hotel... Best place to relax... Enjoy your vacation ... Really enjoy it!!! The food is below average but breakfast is always good... Breakfast excellent- lunch and diner below average! Of course we eat every night out in the city and we enjoy the taste of all cancun restaurants!Don't buy all inclusive in bel air cause the food is not worth it! But the staff is amazing , especially Carlos the waiter , make our breakfast an excellent meal!!!

If you want to have a romantic relaxing vacation, then it is a great option for you. The design of the hotel is awesome, the staff is friendly and is not scrounging for tips (as the rest of service people in Cancun do). The food at the local restaurant is very delicious, however, if you want to have a lunch somewhere else, the closest alternative would require 15 minutes by bus. Important thing for us was the beach, since we wanted just to spend a lazy vacation. The beach was really good - clean and quiet.

Overall an amazing time. CAUTION: You will NOT get your room any sooner than the scheduled check-in time, 3pm... so if you arrive prior to 3pm... be sure to pack a small bag with swimwear, sunblock, etc. The pool and beach are incredibly beautiful -- with swim-up bar, in-pool dining, etc. Upgrade your room if available -- the jacuzzi tub in the room was a great added relaxation touch... unending supply of hot water, beautiful view of the infinity pool and ocean from your own room! Dining options somewhat limited although everything I had was satisfactory or better (especially from the sushi bar). Banana split was to die for -- well worth the almost US$9. The property is clearly historic, but the amenities and the rooms are tastefully remodeled. Gives you a feel of being "home" (a relaxed place without any stuffy-ness). BEWARE: There's a charge of almost US$1 for each local call... of which they failed to advise before I checked in. The staff are pleasant, many speak plain English, and all were very helpful with anything I needed... and there wasn't a sense of expectation of tips... although they were much appreciated :-)

I was clean. Nothing missing. We're enjoy.

a last min. booking. great value and so easy to get to from the airport. excellent beach and swimming. the included breakfast was only a small pastry/ bread and water or coffee. should not have been called breakfast. There is a great restaurant across the street but otherwise not much in walking distance.

Everything is white or red. Gorgeous pool. Lots of light. I thought it was kind of silly at first, but then, after enjoying the sunshine, from the windows,the special lights in the room, the spa, in the pool, (I visited in Dec) for several days, my doldrums lifted and I started really enjoying it. I guess it really worked.

We had a great time but there were up/downs. It was all-inclusive but limitations included never having face or hand towels left by house keeping. I asked for them 2 days in a row then just gave up. Our room was hot and I also asked to have the air conditioning checked 2 days in a row. No luck. Drinks are really weak and mostly mixer, Just ask for shots, champagne, or beer not mixed drinks. Beer is limited to one kind as well. The wait staff at every resturant, bar, lounge etc was slow sometimes but great attitude and wanted to be sure you were pleased with the taste. Loved the food, especially dinner. For meals alone it was worth having all inclusive. We upgraded and paid extra for an ocean front room. Had to lay my head at the foot and look out otherwise all I saw was the hotel next door. So if you get and ocean front location, tip: make sure you are not on the end but in the middle for the best view. We also used their spa services for massages on the beach at night and wedding services to renew vows for a beach wedding. Both were great and well priced for the service. At the end of the day, we would stay again but change the room location, ensure there are towels of all sizes, and cool AC since it was hot during July when we went.
