Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort

Is the best location in Los Cabos, near from all bars, and 10 minutes walking from beach, you´ll never need for cabs. The rooms could be bigger, and the bathroom smells weird even when you dont use it, but its perfect, and cheap. Raul the Bell boy is a great person.

Excelent location. If you want to be where the action takes place, stay there.

The Wyndham is in a great location on the Marina in the town of Cabo San Lucas. Step out of the hotel and you are surrounded by Bars, Restaurants and the day cruise boats. We upgraded to the Marina View Jr. Suites and the room was nice. View and size of our suite was exactly as we expected from reviews of the hotel. Taxis are very expensive in Cabo so one of the real benefits of the hotel were the fact that once you checked into the hotel, everything was within easy walking distance. The hotel is basically good value for the money. Breakfast was included in our room rate. The buffet breakfast was adequate but a little disappointing. I went to other restaurants for breakfast after the second morning.

Good location right by the marina, but the hotel itself is nothing special. Reserved for four nights, but was forced to move rooms after the second night because I was told that I was accidentally given a timeshare room. Despite the inconvenience, it was overall a good value.

The hotel manager is very rude and made me get up from my table so he could sit down to eat.

It does not get any better then this for being in the center of it all in Cabo! Everything is outside your doorstep and the Hotel staff was excellent. We really enjoyed lounging at the pool and cocktails from the pool bar (well drinks were $2.00 - Bloody Mary, Margarita, etc...). I would stay here again and it would be my first choice when returning to Cabo.

If you want to experience Cabo and be in walking distance of restaurants,marina and bars this is the Hotel.

I have no big complaints about the Wyndham, due to the fact it was so inexpensive. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was AMAZING. The water in the shower was lukewarm all week, and the whole hotel was overall mediocre, but for college students who are on a budget it got the job done. Close to the night scene. The front desk wasn't very helpful when I wanted a toothbrush, but I guess that is an American commodity. Not a bad place.

My stay at the Wyndham was salvaged by two things - the location, and the hotel's complimentary breakfast. When I first arrived, the safe wasn't working. Had to call guest services three times over the span of more than an hour until someone came up and fixed it. Not a good start. The room itself was nice enough, but the hotel staff needs to step their game up. The front desk often didn't even pick up when I called them, and both housekeeping and guest services were very slow to respond. Washcloths were never provided, and when I called to ask for them, it was always an incredibly frustrating experience. It took at least three calls each time before anyone would be sent up, and no one ever arrived within 40 minutes of the call. The location of the hotel, as most of the other reviewers have mentioned, is outstanding. It's a 15 minute walk from the excellent Medano Beach, and it's sandwiched between the beautiful harbor and downtown. All the best clubs, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. I didn't have to take a taxi or shuttle anywhere. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. They had something new each day, and it was delicious every time. Definitely one of the perks of staying here. Unfortunately, the staff (or lack thereof) really brought down the experience. On my last day, I was in the hotel's hot tub, trying to relax before my flight home. It was lukewarm at best, so I asked one of the staff to turn the temperature up. He said he would. There couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 people in the pool area at the time, and there were at least 4 or 5 staff members there. And yet, I waited 45 minutes... and nothing. I asked someone else. Waited another 40 minutes... nothing. There is simply no excuse for this. This is pure neglect, and it really makes no sense. Once the staff can get on top of things, I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat. Until then, you can find better.

i flew thousands of mile to surprise my brother who sailed from los angeles, us air had an operations problem and my brother pulled anchor a day early.had my flight to cabo been on time i would have been there and spent 10 days with my brother ...instead i spent several days by myself in a foreign country ...the flight thing is an issue,i also paid for a room in cabo i didnt use . phoenix had to pay dinner etc. also i incurred expenses in cabo while i was supposed to be on on my brothers yacht, free food sailing etc. now is spent alot of money staying by myself ,then taking a bus to la paz 3.5 hrs both ways past sand bags and machine guns totally disatisfied with my once in a lifetime trip
