Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort

We stayed in Cabo in preparation for boarding a live aboard dive boat bound for the Revillagigedo Archipelago for 8 days of scuba diving. Wyndham is the closest location to the dive boat. It overlooks the marina and is very reasonably priced for nice accomodations. Perfect for 1 or 2 nights for this purpose.

This hotel is in a super location...close to everything and walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The staff is extremely helpful...the pool was wonderful and the beach was a 10 min water taxi ride! especially enjoyed the self serve breakfast and the delightful view of the marina and arch...Our best side trip was the sunset cruise! and best dinning was at LA MEXICANA.

Great place. Some rooms have steps to get to them so book your room accordingly.

I have stayed here 4 times, no more. I didn't get the Marina View room untill the third day. Room key didn't work, Buffet breakfast SoSo and pool music WAY to loud during the day. Others traveling with me had to ask for towels multiple times, key troubles, didn't get the Marina views for several days, one gave up, They stopped the free transportation to Medano Beach. I have had problems every time I stayed here but I like the location, or did.

It's a home away from home with friends that I see only once a year.

We had 3 couples and 1 single lady at the Wyndham for 4 nights. We had to change rooms since we did not get our penthouse suite that was paid for. Pool music is way to loud at the time we wanted to go to the pool. Hotel says there is a new quiet area now, I say them working on it. Seems to be quiet away from pool. Had to request toilet paper in room at least 3 times. The front desk never could get my credit card straight for incidentals, very frustrating. View is great from penthouse, mediocre from other room. Would not stay here again.

We were here in 2011 and liked it so much we returned this past October-November 2012. We found even more to like on this trip. While the hotel is a work-in-progress, it's headed in the right direction. Ask, and it shall be given. Put it in writing, if possible. It's easier to understand English if you can take your time translating to Spanish. The staff are our friends and more loving friends you will never find. I don't want to specifically mention anyone for praise. I did that while I was there. The overall tone is kindness and helpfulness. Don't be rude and be kind too. Hopefully, we will see our Wyndham (Tesoro) friends in 2013.

When you arrive to any touristic hotel the staff tries to give you enough information about hotel amenities right ? Not in this one. For example I never knew the shuttle to the beach schedule or if it was working , or if the pool was in service or not You had to ask about information to several people of the hotel to know the real answer. Even other people were asking to me about how to get information in how to use th keys for the elevators ! or other details in the hotel !!. Staff needs training to do a better informative job of the place of work for anything ! They are nice but need training. Showers and AC need service sometimes no warm water or not cool air !. Room quiet and clean but the bed is somehow no comfortable and TV needs better cable.

I have been visiting San Lucas for ten years and this was the first time I had stayed downtown. The staff were wonderful. I had injured my ankle and the employees were very kind. It's clean and quiet. It's close to the marina and the main street of town. I could easily walk to familiar places with the help of a cane. My husband and I enjoyed the breakfast and drinking our coffee on the patio. You'll be treated the way you treat others. A little kindness goes a long way.

When I arrived at the hotel the service was prompt and quick. I went to my room and the first thing I did was check the internet service. Connection was poor and could not connect at all. I called the front desk and within five minutes they moved me to another room with much better reception and view. I found the people there very helpful and eager to please. I did not spend much time in the hotel but the few hours I was there it was pleasant. My reservation included free breakfast and the selection was varied with plenty of things to choose from. The hotel has a pool on the third floor and access to the beach. Since its located at the marina there are tons of things to do right there. I loved my four days there but do remember this is a three star hotel.
