Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort

The best things about this hotel are the location at the marina, and the fabulous view of the boats at the marina. Nothing special about the rooms; clean and neat but kinda sparse. Same can be said about the hotel as a whole, as far as I could tell from a one night experience. But its location at the heart of all the marina activity, the ease of walking to many of the best restaurants in town, and the views from the rooms make it a unique experience. I would stay here again.

This is my 3rd time staying in Cabo and my 3rd hotel. I would say this hotel has the best location if you like to be close to the action. On the flip side there is construction next door so it is very loud. The pool is not very nice so if you want to hang by the pool then this probably is not your place. The swim up bar was closed and it is a little run down. The staff was not very knowledgable or very friendly. We asked them to call the airport shuttle company to confirm our reservation and they charged us for 3 minutes $2.00 for a local call. They will do nothing extra so don't bother asking. I will probably not stay at the hotel again unless they have such a great deal that I cannot pass. The location made it worth it!

We've been to Cabo a couple times and had never tried the Tesoro but gave it a shot this time and we were actually impressed. Rooms had been recently remodeled and were clean and comfortable. The bad thing was that there was construction going on that ran 24 hours a day while they were building a new cultural center next door. Pool has a cheap junky liner that doesn't fit well and even after requests to staff the hot tub never did get turned on, it was luke warm and no jets. The hotel has a weird floor plan like no other that I have seen, but I guess it worked okay.

I arrived late and check in went ok but no one explained any hotel amenities to me and they were not listed in the room. The door was VERY hard to open and close-for everyone even their staff. The safe did not work but they sent someone up to fix it. The room was very tiny but it did have a small fridge and even a small balcony with a couple of chairs and a view of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful and cleaning was going on reg. and there was alway security present. They need to get more and modern fitness equipment and fix the fans or a/c the fitness room. It did work for me because I didn't spend much time in my room. Overall the hotel was just ok.

It took 3 different rooms before I found one with hot water. It was tucked away in a corner and the staff was unwilling to give me a refund of the EXTRA charges I paid for a room with a view of the marina. I then found that Internet is available in the lobby only. Come on...this is ridiculous. The location was great though I thought. The rooms were clean. The bar and pool area were very nice.

Top notch location, keep in mind the road and building construction currently happening, ask for a room on the side of the building where there is no construction occuring. Easy walk to everything in downtown Cabo and Marina. A no brainer on price and location, room was clean, nice decor and service was above average.

my flight was cancelled and then delayed an extra day so I had 2 seperate hotel reservations for this hotel. It took 4 hours and several visits to the front desk before they could confirm that I would not need to check out at 12 and check back in at 3 and that I would have the same room
