Wyndham Cabo San Lucas Resort

Excellent place to stay and the view is simply amazing

Location was great, late checkout is only 1 hour more after regular checkout, you cannot have guests visit at all unless they are staying at the resort , meaning if you meet friends out there no way they will get into your room without a wristband

Decided 3 days before trip to go to Cabo for extended weekend. Checked package deals and found the Wyndham available at a fantastic last minute price even though Spring break was going on. After reading some reviews, I was not expecting what we arrived to. This place has done some major renovations. We stayed in a junior suite marina view and it was very nice,clean and spacious. The view of the marina is fantastic. There were a few mega yachts in this weekend and we had a great vantage point.We travel a lot to Mexico and this was definately the most comfortable bed with pillow top mattress that we have stayed at.The pool area is amazing for a smaller resort. Swim up bar and large pillow lounges to layout on. The staff there are very friendly. Alex was our waiter out at pool while we were there and he was one of the best. Remembered us and always got us a good spot right away. Even though it was spring break and things were busy,we were treated great here by everyone. The pool does play loud music during day but it did not bother us at all. Makes the area fun!

Very good experience and great location. Free breakfast was very good, time share pressure was a turn off. We will stay at the Wyndham again for the price. Great value.

This hotel is right on the marina. If you are planning any activities on the water it does not get any closer than this. Awesome pool area that has a swim up bar and lots of comfortable furniture and cabana. Music at pool was not too loud as other reviews stated. Everything in downtown cabo is accessible from here by walking. We will be returning here next year.

Over priced, even on sale, Free breakfast not good, Too many people in lobby, mostly time share people for Wyndham itself. I was there for 7 days, they brought water and coffee once during my stay, yes they supplied a small coffee pot in the room but what good is it without coffee ? I wouldn't stay there again. It was close to a lot of places to eat & shop, I would recommend the Crazy Lobster for lunch or dinner and the Ecocat for a dinner cruse.

Good location, but service was really bad, Had pool side rooms and the cleaning people in the morning were very loud outside our rooms at 6 am. could not bring any beverages to the pool, fridge did not work in room, told them right away, never came up and looked at it. never left enough towels in room, people at poolside were very rude.

The hotel really is right on the edge of the marina, with views from the balcony of all the action downstairs, whether from the new pool area or your own private balcony. Walk or jog around the docks, eat a sumptuous breakfast at any of the restaurants, take any boat cruise, and shop till you cannot move. Rooms have recently been renovated, and the staff provide every assistance. We were blown away by the service which was not intrusive, but exactly what we needed to really relax - any of the plentiful spa services are available downstairs or nearby. The hotel has been renovated recently which might account for some of the other reviews I have read. This is obviously not the same hotel as it was before, and is a place where I could relax and wind down for a couple weeks with plenty of fun things to interest me right at that spot. I contrast that with the exotic hotels away from the town that are boring!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is right in the heart of the Marina. The new pool is nice and Pamela was very hospitable. The free breakfast was also a good value.
