Wonderful!
Sirena Del Mar was fantastic. A gorgeous suite, two beautiful pools, beach access, a great restaurant -- all in all, it couldn't get better. Traveling with 2 little kids, we found it very relaxing and very fun, for both the adults and the kids. The one thing that we were surprised by was that the room wasn't cleaned daily. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

A beautiful friendly refuge from the craziness of Cabo.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We had an "A" side of the 2 possible adjoining suites which is the larger of the two with the deep balcony, bigger kitchen and proper bedroom. The resort has a lovely view of the Cabo arch from the infinity pool. This is not a party hard type of resort. It is small, intimate and friendly. The staff are terrific, the restaurant is pretty good but with american style prices. Drinks were a bit cheaper probably, averaging in the 6 to 7 dollar range. The beach to the south west is nice but you might want to wear beach shoes as the sand is quite coarse. Snorkelling is pretty good at the far side of the beach, watch out for shallow rocks in the middle. We rented a car which was great for shopping and exploring. Just be aware it was $10/day for the car (on a weekly basis) and 20 to $30 dollars a day for the insurance! Our only complaints were: air con kept kicking out on us in spite of repeated "fixes", pillows were too fat but that is a personal preference, knifes in the kitchen were so bad I cut myself, bring a sharp one if you are going to do any cooking.

A Great Vacation
A beautiful place, with complete ocean views from every room and also a direct view of the arch formation.. A very congenial, always helpful staff. The recreational facilities are first class. Very nice cove beach, but a steep 10-minute hike from hotel discourages use. Limited maid service unless you pay extra. Also an unanticipated daily facility charge. Parking is free. One restaurant, with generally very good meals and drinks, but expensive, Recommend a rental car, unless you don't mind paying for cabs, which are expensive since the resorti s is about a 15-minute drive from anything, including supermarket and restaurants. We would come here again.

Close to Cabo but Secluded
This is a clean, well-thought out resort. The staff are cheerful, friendly, and have obviously received some training. There is quite a bit of English spoken here and the clientele seems split between Canadian and American. The rooms are all suites with an ocean view and balconies. The rooms all have kitchens, cooking gear, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and air conditioning. The pools are fabulous, the food is very good, and the views are stunning. The little cove beach down below is shared with a few other resorts and is quite private and safe with no one trying to sell you stuff. It has about four palm shelters and is sandy. As regards the water, it is fairly rocky and has only a tiny sliver that is appropriate for wading. Still, if you are into snorkeling and brought your water socks, it is amazing. This resort is ten minutes from several big box stores and fifteen minutes from downtown Cabo. This is not a kid-focused kind of resort, not un-friendly to kids, but not the kind of place that caters to them. The timeshare sales pitch is not too horrible either. They also have optional free valet parking, a gated parking lot, free beach chairs/umbrellas, and mask/snorkels. I had only one negative - they did some plumbing work in the unit next to mine and the smell of plumbing adhesive forced me to ask for a room change which they obliged. I was also granted a 1-hour late check-out. All in all, it was an excellent experience. I recommend Sirena Del Mar.

Short drive from hotel
I recommend Patagonia in Cabo for a good Argentinian style steak. Be warned though, they moved a few blocks away but have not updated their website map, so, just go to that neighborhood and ask for directions. Or, just ask anyone in downtown Cabo as pretty much everyone seems to know about this place.

Beautiful, quiet get-away destination
The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The view is great. Relatively close to town and other destinations - cabs are always available. Quite a hike from the airport.

Los Cabos MX Welk Resort
From the moment we arrived at the Welk Resort Sierna Del Mar in Cabo we felt welcomed. The check-in was more than excellent, the service from all the staff was without want, the location and view were astronomical to say the least, very clean accommodations, if you are going to Cabo and dont want to be in the middle of town, where all the cruise ship passengers are dropped off, but be close enough to take a 10 minute cab drive while having peace and solitude, this is the place. Wonderful experience and will most definetely return to this hotel, the rooms are spacious with an adequate living-dining area, high end granite bathroom, and a full kitchen complimented with all utensils, had a great time, recommend that you consider renting a car, not expensive and worth the while. The hotel also has a private beach for its guests and they give you all you need including chairs to be as comfortable as possible. Not really a place for kids, more for couples of all ages for a relaxing time.

I can't imagine a more ideal place to stay in Cabo
The rooms here are beautiful and have amazing views. The infinity pools are incredible because they are basically on a cliff that has a clear view of the Arch. The staff was incredibly friendly and I was actually kind of sad to be leaving them! The location is in the middle of the corridor area. We rented a car and so we had easy access to the main downtown area. If you take taxis it costs $15 USD each way so that can really add up. The hotel has a nice gym, pool table, foosball table, and ping pong table. On Friday nights they have a Mexican fiesta where you get all-you-can eat (amazing spread of food) and all-you-can drink for $33. It's a great deal with a fun Mexican dancing show. One downside is that the average age of the guests skews towards the older side, so if you are looking for a place to meet young, single people then this is NOT the place for you. I'd say the average guest age was probably late 40s.

Perfect week
The Sirena del Mar was, without doubt, the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. My wife and I went there for a romantic getaway and came away breathless. The location is majestic; set atop breaking waves from the Sea of Cortez, with views of the rock formations of Land's End in the distance. The hotel grounds were equally beautiful, the infinity edge pool was especially grand! The friendliness of the staff was also something to be much commended, Mexican hospitality at its finest! If anyone is thinking of going to Los Cabos for a stay; I most definitely recommend the Sirena del Mar as the choice of hotel, you assuredly will not be disappointed

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
take advantage of the Pirate ship cruise. There are actually two; the day cruise has a snorkeling stop of about 45 minutes, while the sunset cruise gives you a very entertaining pirate show, along with views of the beautiful Cabos sunset.
