Bottom line great place
The hotel is one of the most quite hotels I've ever stayed at. The restaurant and the pool are never crowded. The pool is open 24hrs that was a big plus. The room was gorgeous and they all have a great view of the ocean. Though there is a $12 charge for house keeping and you have to call of you would like the room cleaned. The hotel maid did manage to steal my wife's iPod, the management searched the room thourghly but never got around to investigate instead simply blamed us for the missing iPod. Staff was too busy

Dream Honeymoon
This resort is a dream come true. The staff were friendly beyond any expectations and with the resort being so quaint, they remember who you are. You must get a massage in the cabana on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The rooms all have a wonderful ocean view and the amenities were top notch. Stayed in the penthouse! Spent almost every day at the infinity pool with the swim up bar. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Short drive from hotel
Go to Walmart to get your food for your stay and you will save so much money either cooking in your room or barbequing poolside. The on-site restaraunt is amazing but very pricey.

In love with the views!
This hotel was wonderful! Here's my rundown of the good and the so-so - I really didn't think anything was BAD. Good: 1) We were in an A suite (the bigger one bedroom unit) and it was fantastic. We loved having the full kitchen (definitely go out and get groceries from Walmart as other reviewers have mentioned and make use of it!) and were able to save a lot of money by eating breakfasts and lunches on our gorgeous and spacious balcony. 2) We were in the "old" building (I put it in quotations because that building is still only something like 2 years old) and I loved having a view of the arch. We were only on the first floor and I would have loved to have been a bit higher, but the view was still spectacular. That said, I was able to check out the views from a balcony in the new building and the that was also great. In that building you're overlooking the resort's private beach, but you can't see the arch. 3) The private beach rocked. I'm not sure if some of the other reviewers just didn't realize this beach existed or never bothered to go down and get their feet wet, but it seemed perfectly safe and we saw several children in the water and others snorkeling. Either way, the fact that most families seemed to want to stay by the pool was ok with me as i was there for a romantic getaway and appreciated the extra peace and quiet. 4) The staff were great. Everyone is very respectful and very friendly. We were on a first name basis with them within a few hours of our arrival. 5) I cant say enough about how fantastic the views are - watch the sunset from the infinity pool area and watch the sunrise from the private beach. You will not be disappointed. So-So: 1) This might sound really picky, but I didn't like the sheets on our bed. They were a little scratchy and felt cheap, which is weird because the rest of the resort was so nice. Same goes for the towels they give you for pool chairs - they weren't scratchy but I wished that they were big enough to actually span the chair. Just a bit too small. 2) The food was good, but not fantastic. They have a lot of different items on their menu, which is nice. We also took part in some of their "themed" nights - a Mexican Fiesta and a Prime Rib night. Those were both fine, but I thought they were a little overpriced. 3) I never really got to know the bartenders because I didn't drink a ton, but the few drinks I did have were made pretty weak. Pick up a bottle of tequila at Walmart while you're out and add another shot to your margaritas if you need to. :) 4) Yes, the concierge will try to make you go through the timeshare pitch, but so do many other places. This really didn't bother me as much as it seems to bother others. If you don't want to do it, say no! If you're interested or even ambivalent, do it and get a free activity. We got a free whale watching cruise out of it and that was totally worth it for us. They also give you a tour of the penthouse suite, which was cool for a mere mortal like me to see, so all in all, not wasted time. Anyway, overall, the resort was a win. I think this might have been one of the hardest vacations for me to leave in my entire life because I just started feeling so at home there. Hope others have the same luck!

Sirena Del Mar
Staff and facility were excellent. All rooms have excellent ocean views. Location is a little ways away from downtown Cabo, but it's not a bad cab ride (about $20 each way for up to 4 ppl). Very close to Costco and Walmart too, and all rooms have a full kitchen and refrigerator. Extra fee for room cleaning. You can walk from the hotel to a private beach which has pretty good snorkeling too. Overall, excellent hotel. I would definitely recommend to others.

Dining tip:
Short drive from hotel
Use the recommendation of staff for dining and entertainment/excursions that are offered. They were dead on every time and could not have found them without the assistance of the concierge service. You also get 10% off excursions when booked thru concierge so would recommend not booking anything until you arrive at hotelk

fantastic location and rooms
The room and location were awesome. Everything tiny detail was superb from the furniture to the lobbies , the hammocks and even the kitchen stuff. The location was breathtaking with the sea view of the arch and the water breaking under the room window. Cannot be better.

Sirena Del Mar Cabo Trip
Staff was great, they are more like timeshares so they do not clean the room every day but you do have washer/dryer. You can get food and drinks at the grocery store to stock up to make your own breakfasts/meals or eat at the restaurant. Very close to downtown and quick taxi ride back and fourth. Awesome trip, great views, very relaxed environment.
